Como en casa restaurant

We celebrated my mother’s 80th birthday at Como en Casa Restaurant in Oviedo on Saturday, January 17, and we couldn’t be happier with the experience! The owners were extremely pleasant and easy to work with, helping us create a preset menu, accommodate our decorations, and deliver amazing food and outstanding service. Everything was wonderful from start to finish. We highly recommend Como en Casa for family gatherings and milestone celebrations. Thank you for making this such a memorable event!

This restaurant is phenomenal! The staff is pleasant and helpful, the food is exquisite, the music and atmosphere is delightful, the location is conveniently located in a safe zone, and they have ample free parking. My wife and I just rented the whole restaurant to celebrate a special occasion and we were thrilled on how the staff went out of their way to accommodate us and help us make the experience truly memorable. The owner, Steven, personally worked the menu with us and two of the staff members, Crystal and Dulce were particularly helpful in suggesting how best to set up the restaurant to maximize the experience. The DJ had all types of music available and was readily able to play the music best fitted for the party’s theme. I highly recommend “Como en Casa” for either a quiet dinner date at a Puertorican restaurant or even to rent the whole restaurant for your special occasion.

I visited this spot a few weeks ago and was pleasantly surprised. I primarily went there to listen to some music, which was great. The evening started with a gentleman playing guitar who was ridiculously talented, seriously, someone needs to get this guy a deal! After him, a group took the stage; they were talented too, but the music was incredibly LOUD. The first guy’s set was loud, but they turned it up to a whole other level. I thought I’d gone nearly deaf by the time I walked out. Do yourself a favor: avoid sitting near the door where the band is located unless you want to risk bursting an eardrum.

While I was there, I ended up ordering some food, and let me tell you it was delicioso! I had the chicharrón de pollo, and it was cooked so well I almost ate my own finger, lmao! Seriously, the food was that good. The drinks were also excellent.

Overall, it’s an excellent spot, and I look forward to visiting again.

It was not a busy time of day when we visited the restaurant. It was clean & to my surprise when you’re there you can’t even smell any food in there???? Delicious authentic Puerto Rican food!

First timers and we had an amazing time. Our waitress ALANNYS was attentive, informative in reference to the dishes, desserts and drinks. We had five couples and each came at different times but she took care of everyone. It was a busy night with a live band who posted it on line. Angel Martinez and Tropical Vibes made the experience even better. I would definitely recommend thelis place. There is plenty of parking and it's family friendly.

Amazing place! Great atmosphere! Great service! Waitress was great and very knowledgeable about the menu and accomodated us to get the best plates. Definitely will be visiting again! Highly recommended!
