Hershey's Ice Cream

It’s hard to believe it’s been over 10 years—but somehow, every visit still feels like coming home. There’s a certain kind of happiness you can only find in your favorite scoop of ice cream… and for me, it’s always been here.

From the first time I tasted their creamy, dreamy flavors, I was hooked. And even now, whether I’m indulging in my forever-favorite Oreo shake or sneaking in a smoothie during intermittent fasting, this place has never stopped being my go-to escape.

But what truly makes it special? The incredible couple behind the counter—always welcoming, always warm, and always treating every customer like family. You can tell this isn’t just a shop. It’s their passion. Their heart. And it shows in every single bite.

I’m beyond grateful for the memories, the comfort, and the joy they’ve brought to so many of us over the years. So today, I just wanted to share a little love—and some pics from my latest visit.

Way overpriced

The person serving used napkins to touch everything, why not just use gloves for gods sake. I don’t care to see your finger nails digging into the cone. Ice cream immediately started dripping all over my two year old, melting everywhere. I asked for a cup and spoon, she starts ringing it up on the cash register. You’re charging me for it? I asked. I only asked for it because I needed it as they dont properly refrigerate the ice cream. It’s a foam cup that costs pennies, that is going to keep chocolate ice cream off my kids dress. Zero concept of customer experience, retention, repeat customers, lifetime customer value. Ridiculous experience. Oblivious employee.

This place is amazing, I am baffled at all the negative reviews. I've come here for smoothies since high school and they are a unique delicious smoothie they serve here. Highly recommend to try out, they can use the business!!

I went my son to get some ice cream after movies and he wanted a sample and the man there was very rude to us. “ He said no sample in a very angry and disrespectful way and added that then we were going to ask for more samples”. I already knew what I wanted but my son wanted to know how the cotton candy flavor tasted like before ordering. Please don’t come to this place, this man has very poor customer service skills. I won’t come back for sure.

My family’s favorite place to get ice cream in Mount Dora. The ice cream is so delicious!! As soon as you walk in, you’re acknowledged and the service is phenomenally.

Tastes terrible and they don’t even give a receipt. I asked them for a refund and they just added more orange to it which made it taste even more terrible. I had to throw it.
