Fantastic ice cream! Not sure what the secret is, but it's addicting. Staff is always welcoming and friendly.

My fiancé and I wanted an ice cream during such a hot day, yesterday. We’ve tried all the “big brand” places and they’re all…. Eh.
We walked in to Kelly’s and it was Heaven! The cutest little shop decorated so nice! We both got double scoop waffles cones. He got Mint Chocolate Chip and I got Chocolate Peanut Butter Brownie. OH MY!!! They were so good! Rich and creamy!! We’ve found our ice cream place from now on!! I told them I would give them a 10/10 if possible! We can’t wait to go back and try different flavors and maybe a banana split! And thank you, thank you for offering dairy free and sugar free varieties! Now I can bring my mom!!

Kelly’s has a special place in our hearts! We go 2-3x a month. The ice cream is high quality and you get what you pay for. We have too many favorite flavors to list, but I want to personally shout out to any of the monthly flavors that have been dark chocolate based; there is nothing better to cure a bad day than the chocolatiest of chocolates, and this is that! (I’m looking at you cosmic brownie and German chocolate cake!) Here is a roundup of all the locations our family of 5 has tried: Maitland 11/10 - Our favorite location. Always great service from Andy, the freshest waffle cones/bowls, and always has all the flavors in stock. Ample parking and seating indoors and nearby outdoors to suit your fancy. Consistently perfect! Ferncreek 9/10 - The ice cream is great, and the outdoor area is adorable. Parking is a little rough but it’s a historic area and understandable. Horizon West 10/10 - Stellar waffle cones/bowls, special products, and the best indoor seating. Winter Park 7/10 - A little cramped and no indoor seating, but when the weather is nice the outdoor area is cute! Special shout out for the oatmeal creme pie flavor only available here. Waffle bowls tend to be stale. Winter Garden 9/10 - Extremely friendly service and fresh waffle bowls, we just wish it was a standalone for easier access and less crowding. Hunter’s Creek 7/10 - Stale waffle cones and less than fresh ice cream, but we love the ample parking, wide variety, and proximity to our home away from home. Sanford 5/10 - *edit: this location is not run by Kelly’s so they don’t have full control.* The only disappointment we’ve had trying so many locations. Waffle cones so stale you can bend them like rubber, and the unfriendly coffee shop staff manning the ice cream counter unwilling to make fresh cones. Ice cream itself is stale and not at all on trend with the Kelly’s brand and stellar reputation. “Sold out” of multiple flavors, and one case has a broken light and door. Just seems like this location doesn’t get the same TLC as the rest.

We love our local Oviedo Kelly's ********Awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We are so glad to have a Kelly;'s Ice Cream here in Oviedo. Wow, just super ice cream. We love Kelly's and we highly recommend getting ice cream here.

Kelly’s in Oviedo has some of the very best ice cream my family and I have tasted in all of Central Florida. This includes other Kelly’s located within the regional area. It’s unfortunate the staff service is below average. Every time we visit we feel like we’re not wanted at this location. The very first time we visited I thought it was because maybe they were busy and having a bad day, but when my family and I returned we experienced some of the same if not worse. My family and I hope things change, if not we will not be returning. And that’s unfortunate because the ice cream taste there is excellent.
