I am not sure how flavorful one needs to have a calzone but this one is absolutely the very best! I read a review on here that suggested that the calzones here lacked flavor and I could not disagree more! The calzone from this place is by far the best I have had and trust me, I have ordered them in every single local restaurant around here and this is by far the most tasty and flavorful one yet! Oh, and the sauce! Mamma Mia! Absolutely delicious!!! I highly recommend it!!

Don’t let the appetizing photo fool you! It looks better then it taste!I arrived around 4pm. I don’t know what all the hype is about this place. They had dried up pizza pies lying everywhere (Maybe it’s different with the dinner rush) I asked if they served pizza by the slice and she looked over to the dried up pizza and said yes! I obviously had to decline.I was craving Spaghetti and Meatballs and saw the ratings of this place so decided to try it. Worst mistake. The spaghetti was dry, the meatballs tasted freezer burnt. Once the server gave me my food she didn’t check to see if everything was okay. I even pushed the plate away to make it obvious. Oh might I add I WAS THE ONLY ONE DINING IN THE RESTAURANT!!It wasn’t until I had to call for her, while she was chatting up a storm with another employee… to give me the check. They are polite but the service and food quality is horrible!!

Discovered this gem yesterday while waiting on my wife at the chiropractor. Deciding to explore, I walked the length of this strip mall and noticed one store with more traffic going in and out than all the other stores combined. As I got closer, a lady hustled past me and greeted me like only happens in small towns/communities. She disappeared into Lil Vinny’s. By the time I got to the door, two cars pulled up in the no parking zone in front with people dashing into Lil Vinny’s, no doubt for a pick up order. In short order, as we drove past heading home to order a Papa John’s pizza, my wife, intrigued by my observations, says why don’t we just pick up our pizza here. We encountered a very friendly staff, cozy surroundings and a pleasant ambience. Pictures of scenes in Italy, and playing softly in the background, popular Italian songs I grew up with. So what about the food? Read the other reviewers! I agree 100% with all the good ones! Suffice to say we enjoyed our pizza immensely, and plan to return on our next visit to the area. Ciao!

s were either family, close friends, or regulars. None of that is bad but we did notice who we assumed to be Vinny spending a significant amount of time at one table with an older couple, leaning in and whispering. For such a small restaurant, it was really obvious. Anyway, the service was good, the garlic knots were just ok, I could use more butter and garlic, they were large and somewhat dry since all the seasoning seemed to be just on top. The calzones were large and tasted pretty good. Mine wasn’t as piping hot as I usually like and I think you can see from the picture that the cheese wasn’t oozing. The ricotta, which is the star of a calzone, was kind of bland and lacked seasoning. I ended up needing to use salt to get some more flavor. I liked the marinara, it was tangy and flavorful. All in all, the experience was not the best but not bad. I would give them another shot. I love a mom and pop Italian restaurant, especially in my home town, so hoping our experience was a one off.

Decided to try Lil Vinnys after seeing some recommend it on Facebook. Service was great and food was very good.The house dressing for Greek Salad was amazing.Our Grandson wanted chicken strips and ?. They made it happen for him and he ate every bite of the spaghetti.
This was our first time and it did not disappoint. Delicious Sicilian thick crust pizza. Excellent service. We will definitely be back!Wheelchair accessibility: Fairly small place but it was still easy to get my dad in and out in the wheelchair.

I was told this is a good mom and pop type of pizzeria with everything fresh and homemade. I ordered a thick crust pizza and a Alfredo with broccoli and order of garlic knots. They voided my pizza and never called me about it, said it takes a long time to make. But they had the Alfredo ready so now as I wait for them to make me some skinny pizza my Alfredo is getting cold. The waitress was not very nice today at all. The manager apologized and then gave me our dinner , it wasn’t great at all it was poor at best. Cold Alfredo that I now had to reheat and a pizza we didn’t want but had to settle for becz the thick crust took too long. The pizza looked far better than it tasted. Will not be back.
