Wow! Wow! Wow! All I can say is Wow! Not sure many other words that can describe the experience my husband and I had at Mission BBQ today. From the moment we walked in to the very seconds we were leaving, the service was exceptional. We had never been there before and the first thing we noticed was all the military pictures on the walls. The manager at this location is a great guy. The staff is friendly and he does a good job with the entire place. I would 100% recommend someone to go there for some good bbq. Today I got the Black Plate Special which changes, but right now its a strip steak and it's delicious. I have never had a bad experience at Mission.

The restaurant is decorated with elegant tributes to the armed forces and first responders, showing pride and respect. They also have a daily tradition of singing the national anthem and reciting the pledge of allegiance at noon, which adds a meaningful touch. The food is great and everyone from cashier to cook to staff tending the tables does their work with pride and esprit de corps. The menu includes a sampler to try all the meats, with ribs being the winner, along with flavorful chicken and delicious beans. The brisket is highly praised, and the collard greens are peppery and different. They have a variety of sauces, with Sweet City being the favorite, while others are vinegar-based or sweet and spicy. The atmosphere, food, and service make this one of the best BBQ places around. Customers appreciated the caring staff and the warm welcome, even when arriving close to closing time, feeling like part of a welcoming family.
