The best pizza in central Florida ! Crisp chewy New York style crust. Vegan meats such as vegan meatballs and pepperoni. Real Italian meats and pineapple is always free ! Big Al ( El pizzero loco ) will always make sure you are taken care of. Really like this place. Trust me you kids will like it too ! Make sure you try the stubborn soda - pineapple cream.

Pizza is good. They use NY water to make pizza dough, which makes the crust more tasty and crunchy somehow. I need to try some of the other items on the menu next time I go. Friendly staff and cool Robot named Bella, which delivers the pizza to your table.

Love this place! The food is phenomenal! The people are phenomenal! My kids love it. There’s a robot food delivery thing that interacts with the kids and they’re obsessed. They let you put stickers on the wall too. Plus, the PIZZA IS THE BEST!

This was a delicious and fun pizza place! The staff was all friendly and the pizza was yummy! They have little games and activities you can take to your table while you wait, which I thought was cute, especially for the kiddos. They have a robot that will bring your pizza out to you! You might have to ask special for this because ours was just brought out by staff. I wish I would have known to ask because it is super cute and I know our kids would have loved it! We enjoyed watching it deliver pizza to another table anyway! Overall good experience!

Cute place, pizza oven cooks the top of the pizza too fast so the bottom doesn't get crispy at all, the slice doesn't hold well. Cheese was okay, sauce was a little sweet for my taste, kids would probably enjoy it, especially with how cute the place is decorated. Nice customer service and a military discount. Desserts weren't great, fairly bland.

We have this a try today. The pizza turned out amazing. The dough was great, I enjoyed eating the crust just as much as the pizza. The owner (or manager) was extremely nice and told us about the ingredients and how they use three different kinds of flour and some system to make New York water. All in all it was great. The price is a little on the high side but all the ingredients were fresh and the taste was great. We will be back.

Heard about the new pizza joint in town. The former pizza place that was there was brutal, so it shouldn’t have been to hard to top.First of all, let’s lose the “New York pizza” talk.Nothing about it is NY.From the looks to the taste. We were greeted by two adorable kids in costumes for Halloween handing out candy as we walked in. Very cute!Menu board was easy to read, but seemed to be missing some items that are available. (Stromboli, giant slices)We got the Bianca pie (small) and a large BBQ chicken pizza and 3 drinks. The Bianca pie was mediocre. Wife thought it was a tad dry and on bland side. Had fresh garlic on it which if you like garlic, you’ll appreciate. However, the BBQ chicken was, in a word, embarrassing.LITERALLY, one piece of chicken, which was no bigger than a half inch on each slice. One slice didn’t even have any chicken on it. (See pics)We’re talking not even an ounce worth of chicken on the whole pie!I’m not expecting a pound of meat on it, but if you’re going to call it BBQ CHICKEN pizza, the chicken should play a more prominent role.So $20 for dough, bbq sauce and cheese.I won’t compare to the bbq chicken pizza we make at home, which has bbq sauce, Monterey Jack cheese, CHICKEN, scallions and red onion. It was easily the lamest BBQ chicken pizza I have ever had anywhere. The soda machine was cool, with the different options you don’t normally see, but 2 of the flavors were out and it ran out of ice.Coke is much better, but it’s hard to beat a beverage that’s been around for over 120 years.2 sanitary things that annoyed me:1. Despite myself and counter staff yelling loudly at the employee who was attempting to deliver the Bianca pie to our table, that he was bringing it to the wrong table, set it down under the noses of the 2 people at the table. In this day and age under a “pandemic”, it’s probably a better idea to let the customer come get it themselves.2. Same guy delivers the BBQ “chicken” pizza to the table, using a white dish towel as a pot holder, let’s the towel drag across the pizza as he’s pulling his hand away.I had to ask him if the towel was clean, to make sure it wasn’t in fact the same towel he’s wiping tables down with.Still friggin nasty. The place is spacious and nice to hang out in, but didn’t get the “beach” vibe everyone seems to enjoy.

Omg... The food definitely matches the good vibes here.

You've got to try Playa Pizza! Looking for a different experience than every other pizza shop, this is it! It starts when you walk in. You feel the beach vibe - relax and don't take life too seriously. So much attention to detail. And the pizza is so good! The crust is amazing. Not too thick, not to thin...perfect! You can taste the difference. Crust that you will actually eat after you've eaten all the toppings! And Stubborn soda machines too! Can't wait until the Horizon West location opens!

Playa Pizza is the place for delicious, fresh pizza. They use New York-style water to make their authentic hand-tossed dough. You can watch the chefs in the open kitchen throwing dough in the air. The toppings are fresh and quality seemed to be of utmost importance. The customer service was great, too, which is always nice.

Visited Playa Pizza for the first time and I have to say they very well deserve 5 stars! The food, the environment, and the staff were all amazing. We learned from one of the staff members that they are the only pizzeria in the Orlando area that uses water from New York by using a unique water distiller and the difference is extremely noticeable! They have both non-vegan and vegan options. Big thanks to the staff for providing such a positive experience and pizza. I'm looking forward to visiting again.

I am glad I was in the area and decided to give this place a try. Great pizza! A nice thin crust with a blend of seasonings on top. Highly recommend if you're in the area.

Awesome pizza, special water gives a NY pizza flavor. I normally don't finish the crust but Playa's dough is outstanding. Lots of really cool decor touches!

Playa Pizza made my afternoon. Perfect pie. We had a half veggie half cheese pizza that will leave me longing until the next trip to Oveido/East Orlando. The restaurant is clean and spacious with amazing fresh Italian aroma emanating from it’s huge oven. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. We had a great time.

I stopped in to see what all the hype was about and I’m glad I did. The NY style pizza was on point and the vegan pizza was the best I’ve had in town. Still trying to figure out how they made the vegan cheese melt, I swear it was real! Love this place, I’ll be back soon!
