Ramen Takagi is really special, and the people of central Florida are blessed they don’t need to buy a ticket to Japan for some of the most authentic and incredible tonkotsu ramen around. I ordered it spicy and it hit in every aspect. The pork broth milky white and rich. The level of umami reminded me of being back in Japan. Beautiful seasoned egg accompanied what may be the best bowl of tonkotsu ramen I’ve had stateside. The thinly sliced charsu literally melts in your mouth. Great service. Friendly vibe. Immaculate food. I’ll be back…again…and again.
$50 for lunch. Two bowls of Ramen and two sodas. I’m not clear on how that’s commercially sustainable in the long run. I guess the commercial landlord is charging you guys a lot. We can’t really come back again but the food was good.
