To whom it may concern,My entourage of seven family members had dinner at your TEXAS ROAD HOUSE location yesterday evening. We have considered ourselves regular customers at the Clayton Crossing Way, Oviedo, FL location, for many years ever since it opened up. The food has always been consistently excellent and the service 5 stars. First, our waitress was very conscientious, friendly and above any reproach. She was worthy of praise. My rib eye Ft. Worth 14 oz steak was excellent! However, for $26.99 you should be able to get a baked potato. Evidently, at around 6:30 pm you ran out of them. I was offered French fries which I accepted. Unfortunately, when I took my 4 year old grandson to the men's room, my French fries were taken away by the bus boy before my family could figure out what happen. Speaking about the men's room, I wouldn't let my grandson use the toilet or urinal due to the floor being covered with urine, especially in front of the urinal! Really disgusting! Are not the bathrooms periodically inspected?I had to take my grandson back to his grandmother so as to use the ladies room. Apparently, I missed the fact that there was a family bathroom, too. That was clean, according to my wife.I then returned, to find my French fries gone... Several of us conceded to the French fries instead of a hardy baked potato with sour cream and butter... By the way, the few fries that I did have, tasted real good. When I tried to flag down the waitress, the music was so uncomfortably loud that she couldn't hear me.So, I gave up on ordering a new order of fries. When she returned she couldn't hear us without us yelling at her. What's up with the noise???Your restaurant was also unusually warm. Why?I did get some free peanuts as we left. My consolation price due to the absent French fries. I should also say, that the rolls and butter continue to be sublime. As aforementioned, the waitress was excellent. Yet, I was greatly disappointed that my favorite eating establishment took a bad turn last night. My grandson did enjoy his hot dog, though. The ribs were a tad bit too dry, but to be fair the other meals were good. You folks still cook a great steak! I seem to keep saying that. Not certain when, or if I return to TEXAS ROAD HOUSE. This review from a once dedicated customer may or may not, mean anything to your Organization. However, the next time, when I feel like going out to dinner for a tasty steak, perhaps I should take pause and go elsewhere.

It took us 2 hours from the time we arrived until we could get out of there. It was extremely loud and the servers were very busy. As busy as it was, they still had to do a line dance. The food was ok. The steaks ordered were good, according to my DH and others in our party. Everyone else had nearly finished before my chicken came out. Not an experience I'm eager to duplicate any time soon.

Plenty of lunch specials (early bird specials) to choose from for everyone. We (3) got ribeyes and a filet which were perfect. Our server (Cookje) was so kind so we will go out of our way to go back (we don't live close but will be back).

My grilled shrimp was not cleaned properly. Bed of rice was cool. Family member's steak overcooked. Food has been a let down last two times we came.

I been to this place a few times before and for some reason it didn't feel the same this time around. i decided to celebrate my anniversary with my wife at this location and we was both very disappointed.i ordered the NY strip i ask for it medium rare got it medium well .the steak was burn around the edges. The manager made it right and got another steak but had no taste, didn't want to complain again. I felt like we was rushed. while i still had food on the plate the waiter asked if we wanted to go plates and said we can pay on the kiosk, my long island was still full to the top at that point. So I ask for a couple of bags of peanut and was told they don't have any more. What NO PEANUTS !!! ,after seen a couple of tables with peanuts I figured it was time to leave. I hope the next time I go it'll be better and the cooks/chef's will make the plate and steak look more appetizing and tasteful. 4 out of 5 stars because the Manager tried to make it right.

This evenings dinner was definitely overrated. The food was lackluster at best. The evening started out with cheese fries as an appetizer that needed attention. This set the mood for the meal. The fries were soggy and the melted cheese came off in one piece with the first fry in a single swift pulI. It was as if the cook staff had old fries, threw shredded cheese on them, and tossed them in the microwave to warm the fries/melt the cheese (making the fries unpalatable in the process). They were sent back with haste. For the main course, I ordered a burger for my son, medium, and it was cooked no more than rare. Mine and my wife’s food were palatable, but not impressive. Our service was adequate until the last moment. Yasmine was attentive (in the beginning) and kind. However when you order chocolate milk (which comes with the kids meal) with the intent to give it to your toddler as dessert, and, it’s never delivered, the disappointment in your child’s eyes can be just as disheartening as this meal. If this was the only problem, no review would’ve been left. We just wouldn’t have returned. However, in the hopes to keep others from sharing our fate, I am leaving this review.Ahh, the coupe de grace, the table was cleared by the busing staff while we still sat at the table. Nothing like a dirty bus bin to top off such a fine meal.I assure you, we will never return.

Update to my previous review. Some things have changed but, unfortunately some problems remain.Texas Roadhouse is our favorite mid priced place to get steaks. While the food was good, the service was very slow considering the restaurant was half full. Salads took forever. Steaks even longer! I always order my steak blu but about half the time servers only tell the kitchen rare and I have to send it back. There have been times with excellent service unfortunately it's jusr not consistent.
