Now it all makes sense… I’ve been trying to call for a while and got no answer!!!
My heart is broken. RIP white sauce and sweet flames… we are going to miss you! And the hibachi riceeeee
Any chance this will come back? Or relocation? <\3
Mourning the loss of one of my all time favorite, go-to restaurants since I moved to Oviedo 4 years ago. I can’t believe it’s gone. The Tokyo Crunch will be missed. The chicken hibachi with fried rice and veggies will be missed. The spicy fried potatoes will be missed. Even the pointless, wilted, ridiculously sized garnishes on every single food item (even when it made absolutely no sense to have a garnish) will be missed.
The boys in the kitchen always asking about my day. The empty dining room that yearned to have guests stay and enjoy a meal inside of it once more. All but a distant memory now. It took me 4 years to finally reach the status of a “regular”. Isaac would answer the phone and ask “the usual?”. My heart aches at the devastating news of this establishment’s closure. I hope and pray that one day I can taste you again. God speed. Rest in peace, sweet prince. I hope to see you again, perhaps beyond the gates of heaven, with extra white sauce.
I'm disappointed. I recently moved to the area and thought this would be my spot. After 3 attempts, it is not.
Takeout only. Great value for sushi. This is our local go to now that bento closed. It’s just as good and less expensive.
This is a takeout only. I was so disappointed when I came to have luch with my daughter. There wasn't much to choose from. The young man waiting to take our order was very polite and patient. I saw the tables with chairs stacked on top of them and clearly knew it was get your food and get out kind of place. I'm not sure how long this place will be here.
My boyfriend and I love the hibachi here. The manager also went out of his way to help me with my order today. Highly recommend

When I entered they said they only doing take out which was OK, first time there so the guy who took my order was very helpful. I ordered the hibachi lunch with the NY strip. And The Tokyo roll. Had to wait about 15 to 20 minutes but it was good. Once I got the food everything looked great and a great amount for the money. Once I started to eat the rice was flavorful and the egg rolls and dumplings were great. But when I started to eat the steak it had a bad scent and it tasted spoiled. I instantly spit it out and called the restaurant back. The person who answered the food really put me off because, I was calm and explained what happened, I also told him ,I'm just telling you so you can check the other meat. All this while saying that everything else was great. But he was defensive telling me it may be the marinate and he used one big slab that they cut up and seasoned the night before, and no one else complained. I'm like I know when food is spoiled. Especially meat, it has a foul odor, he still was standing by the fact that nothing is wrong with his meat but if he get my contact he can give me a free one the next time. And I'm like it's not about that and I won't be back. I believe Accountable needs to be taken. I never had any intention to go back I live a ways away. I just want to make him aware . Be he was very nonchalant. I believe meat can go bad at any time for many reasons, it's all how you handle situations which makes or breaks businesses. Eventhough the other food was good , I wouldn't be back.

Walked in and walked out on Mother's Day. Even though they were cooking food, the place smelled like dirty old oil. They really need to give that place a good cleaning. If you want really good sushi go to Hinode Sushi Across the Street next to Tijuana Flats. They have really good sushi/
My visit to Tokyo Tapas in Oviedo was fantastic. The menu had a great selection of Japanese small plates and each dish was bursting with flavor. The relaxed vibe and friendly service made it a memorable dining experience.
