We came for dinner. My son ordered the Tuesday night special which was the fried chicken with collard greens, French fries, and cornbread. I ordered a side of French fries with gravy and a side salad. They served a large portion (half a chicken) of the fried chicken. It was cooked well but did lack some seasoning. The collard greens were excellent. The cornbread was dry. The French fries were perfect and the brown gravy delicious. It was very thick. The salad was average. We both ordered water with lemon. The bill came to $30.45, $16.99 for the fried chicken dinner, $3.99 for a small side if French fries, $2.49 for a small dessert size bowl of gravy, and $4.99 for a side salad.

We started with the tzatziki and pita bread. The pita was warm and soft. I'd have liked a lil more lemon to the tzatziki but it was still really good.
I got the Oviedo platter. The eggs were cooked to over medium perfection. The bacon wasn't overly greasy. Potatoes had a lil crunch on the outside, soft and yummy inside. The gravy was wonderfully peppered though the biscuit was definitely on the dry side.
My partner got the lasagna soup which she said was really good. Oddly though it has bell pepper in it, dunno who puts bell pepper in lasagna. My partner and bells don't get along so she had a few minor issues for a few hours after. Main course she had the chicken fried chicken with mashed potatoes and peas, this also comes with a biscuit. She said the breading on the chicken was good but it didn't stay on, it came right off. Potatoes were good and the brown gravy was definitely her favorite of the 2 gravies. Peas were super bland and again biscuit was dry.
Our server Shayne was outstanding!!! He kept the sweet tea glasses full, gave us the perfect containers for leftovers and kept tabs on us. Would definitely ask to sit in his section again. Everyone on staff was super nice.

I had the Blueberry Pancake Platter and my daughter had the Nutella Pancake Platter — both were fantastic — but the one that truly stole the show was the Chicken and Waffles my son ordered. He put it best: “The chicken and waffles was something you wouldn’t expect to be good, but once you try it, you’ll want it every day.” Perfectly said. Everything was cooked to perfection, and the portions were generous. Great service, cozy vibe, and easily one of the best breakfast spots in Oviedo!
