They write checks for employees that cannot be cashed and continue to do so weeks after weeks. They have the employees use their own money to keep the restaurant “alive” then don’t pay them back or give them another check that also can’t be cashed. Mike is the managers name he should have closed the restaurant when it closed the first time.#payup

Although this place has been through a rough time, it is bouncing back wonderfully. Cooks are nailing it, service is top notch, and the atmosphere is warm and cozy. Give it another chance and delight in the improvements.

Its a Damn shame , my wife and l brought a great couple with us to enjoy birthday out, well want a disappointing time ,they were out of three things that we try to order not only that but sat there for an 30min waiting to order. The food never came out and people just got up and left. I would never go back to this place nor would l tell anyone about it. All l can said is DON'T BELIEVE THE PICTURE ON THIER WEBSITE.

I've worked in the restaurant business before and what I experienced was laziness beyond belief and no care what so ever. Literally waited over an hour for our food for 4 adults with only 1 couple being their as well. Waiter was nice guy but was hard to be found as who knows where he went off too half the time. Many staff where on their phones and had no sense of urgency for service today. When we did order our food 20 minutes went buy when the chef came out and 86ed the roast beef. As a waiter your chef should tell you what's available and what's not so we dont order it. That's literally basic running a restaurant 101. Anyway, when we did order our food. My wife's alligator bites where over cooked but seasoned okay. My chicken with tomato gravy was actually really good however my Mac and cheese was cold as if made first then put on a cold burner for 30 mins or so. My father in laws shrip poboy HAD 6 shrip each half. If you can count your meat on a poboy it's wrong. Lastly we never had any service from receiving our food to getting the check. I had to go to the bar and ask the bartender which was chatting with the cook while on their phones for our check and togo box. I get it, it's slow but for God's sake when there's a table work for your tips. We used to come here for southern food but not any more. It'll have to take lots of word of mouth and changes for us even CONSIDERING to make a trip to Cosses place.

Use to come here all the time and it was always busy! Came today and there was no one here but thought we just beat the church rush. Ordered drinks and appetizers and then food about 20 mins later, our waiter then walked out and got in his car. The cook came out and told us there was no roast beef after waiting another 20 mins for our food so ordered something else, then our waiter showed back up after 40 mins for our food to come out so a little over an hour of waiting for food the shrimp po boy had 6 shrimp per side so to sides for a full the small po boy had about 7 shrimp on it and you had to look under the mountain. Of veggies to find them, the gator bites and fries weren’t terrible a little crisper than they use to be and the Cajun pasta was cold. We got refills once out of that whole time there. Mind you it was us another couple in there so it wasn’t busy at all. The bartender and cook were sitting at the bar playing on their phones and we couldn’t find our waiter. My husband had to walk up and ask for to go box and check so we could leave. It’s sad that it has gone down hill.

Taste was good but 12 shrimp on a whole poboy and 10 on half a poboy doesn’t make sense. Everything seemed to be slow moving, we were there an hour before food came out. Definitely not worth the price or drive anymore

We ate there yesterday around 2 pm. Both of us had the shrimp po boy. I had jambalaya and my wife had gumbo. Everything was awesome and delicious. Savannah waited on us and couldn’t have been more pleasant. We are in the area once a year and always make it a point to eat at Cosses. I was a bit hesitant after reading the reviews but glad we ignored them and stopped by. Food was delicious. We gobbled down every bite and look forward to our next visit!

I’ve given this place several chances, but it’s been disappointing every time. On multiple visits, the crawfish has come out cold, the gator bites were burnt, and they were even out of sausage for the seafood boil. The bartender once told us she didn’t know how to make a Bushwacker, which was surprising for a place like this.
We decided to give it another shot after a couple of months, but when we walked in around 8 PM on a Friday night, the host told us they were closed — even though the sign clearly says they’re open until 2 AM.
Really wanted to like this spot, but the inconsistency and poor service make it hard to recommend.

Food was very good however the kitchen was very slow in there on a Tuesday only people in the restaurant they're were 6 of us we ordered and about 20 minutes later 1 meal came out and half of another one. By the time the rest of mine was out I was finished with the first part.in total it took over an hour for almost everyone to get their meal.the last meal was a chicken sandwich meal and it was done wrong ordered with no mayo and it was covered in mayo. The waiter kept apologizing but still took way to long. Like I said food was good just a very slow kitchen

Went for the Muffalletta and couldn't get a whole one, so only got a half to share between us. They were much smaller than when you get the whole Muffalletta so that was disappointing. It was good, but could have used more olive mix on it. We normally get them in Louisiana where we used to live and they're much more filled with meat and olive mix in Louisiana. Maybe if we go back we'll ask them to load it up! Gotta have plenty of that olive mix! That's what makes it! The fries were pretty good too.
It took a long time to get served. When we finally did our server was very sweet! We really liked her.
This was our first time at the new location. We weren't sure if we were going to find it! We went to the old location a lot and loved it. The new location was much further than we expected it to be. We drove an hour to get there just for that Muffalletta we were craving!! It was disappointing that we couldn't get a whole one at a Cajun restaurant! That was a first!

The waitress said she might have to come back to be reminded what we ordered because she didn’t have her pad. My daughter had the catfish basket with baked Mac and cheese and coleslaw. She had to come and ask her 3 times what sides she ordered. When she brought the hot catfish and coleslaw she said “I have bad news” we are out of baked Mac and cheese. She ordered French fries…. Catfish was not hit by the time she recieved her FF’s. I had a ceaser salad and fried catfish. She came back and said they were out of romaine but could use head lettuce instead. When salad came it was shredded lettuce and dressing was not ceaser. No croutons. It was terrible. I sent it back and got French fries but catfish wasn’t hot by then. The entire experience was awful. Will not return

Went to eat Monday evening, only 1 table occupied with 4 customers, the waiter looked at my wife and I walked away and didn't come back. Bartender had no customers noticed us walk away finally came from the back and I threw my hands up so she asked what our order was, I explained no one has come to the table the 15 minutes we had been waiting. Waiter finally came from the back area apologized said he didn't see us which was a lie. Placed our order and after another 30 min it finally came out was good and hot but again waiter went to the back of the restaurant and never came out. Sad thing is owner/manager was sitting there and said nor did anything. When leaving we noticed a horrible smell and instead of using the dumpster the trash was being thrown on an open trailer which is also a health violation. When they 1st opened in the new location service and food were both great but has since gone down hill

I used to eat here when it was on Stuart st. In Milton and it was delicious. Ate here with my daughter tonight and it was horrible. The gumbo tasted like nothing but crab boiled, my pick 2 was oysters and shrimp. There was 6 tiny shrimp and my oysters were non-existing. A bunch of fried breading and a speck of oysters in the middle. My daughter had the fried crawfish and it was so salty she couldn't eat it. Sent the crawfish back and they still charged her for the fries. She didn't get to eat the fries because they were in the basket they took with the crawfish.

Unfortunately very disappointing. Came at lunchtime and tried to order boudin balls - they were out. Pivoted to the egg rolls (I believe) - they were out. Ordered the queso instead - our poor waitress had to come back for a THIRD time to tell us they couldn’t do that either. Finally just ordered our food and I’ve never had crab claws so overcooked that the meat frayed like fabric and stuck to my teeth. Fried shrimp was also insanely overcooked. No wonder it took 30 minutes to get out to us! Only upside was that the waitress and bartender were extremely sweet, welcoming, and apologetic. They deserve all the props for any stars earned.
