As the name might suggest this place does sell excellent, freshly backed Kolaches. They sell a variety of other pastry items as well. Although I came towards closing time the shelves were decently stocked and the pastries were fresh and delicious. It appears to be a family-run local business. This isn’t a dine in type bakery shop if that is what you are interested in. I enjoyed my experience with this bakery and I will probably be back.
It was pretty good, the ladies were nice, and I tried the spinach and feta kolache & a pumpkin Danish. Both were fairly enjoyable, I think the spinach and feta would taste really good with an egg on there too! The only thing I didn't like was the ratio of filling to bread on the Danish! I still ate it and enjoyed it!
Been here a few times now and had a good variety of sweet and savory. Service is pleasant and food is pretty good. Anything with cheese seems kind of dry, I think there is a lack of cheese. The sausage gravy was also much drier than I expected, even fresh out of the oven, but nice taste. I've never had kolache outside of this place so idk if that's how it's supposed to be or not. I prefer the elongated savories because the round ones have too much breading imo. But again never had other kolaches so it's hard to say what should be expected. Either way still good enough to return. Flavors are nice. My husband says they have the best Twisties around.Did NOT like the cinnamon roll. Big skip. Huge lack of icing and cinnamon flavor. It's pretty much just the sweet bread they use.
Kolache Bakery had a good amount of variety of both savory and sweet items. My family highly recommends the pulled pork and jalapeño sausage. The sausage/gravy and bacon/egg/cheese were also liked. As for sweets, we liked the apple fritter, peach danish and cinnamon twists. Restaurant was clean and staff was friendly.
Everything I had was amazing! The boudin tasted great! Actually EVERYTHING I have tried has been good. The bread has an amazing taste!
A client of mine recommended I try this place , she told me how amazing the breakfast and pastries were. Please do not look this place over , incredible! This morning I decided to try it and I was not disappointed at all. I ordered a little bit of everything and the bread is just so flavorful and the stuffing adds the savory taste , what a great combination of flavors. The service was beyond amazing and I cannot wait to go back again. Thank you for the delicious food and amazing service !
It's fortunate that I don't live near Kolache Bakery, because I'd gorge myself every day. I recently visited for the first time and got four kolaches. The plain old sausage variety is straightforward...it's about four inches of Conecuh sausage encased in a bun. Extra credit for Conecuh! The ham and cheese was fine. The boudin was fine. But. What was absolutely remarkable was the sausage and gravy kolache, which is a large, heavy round bun. Inside is ground up Conecuh link sausage, mixed with white gravy to a thick consistency. I ate it while I was driving back to Milton and almost turned around to go back for another one or five. This is a must-have!Incredibly clean store and super nice staff. I'd highly recommend a visit and the sausage and gravy kolache.
The baked goods are simply outstanding and fairly priced. Staff is very helpful. Delicious!!
I love going here, and I especially love the fact that Kolaches are a very toddler friendly food! My 2 year old is extremely picky but he will eat an entire Kolache with no problem. My fav is definitely the jalepeno egg and cheese and the cream cheese. So good and great service!
Tried kolache today for the first time, OMG they were delicious!!! Everyone needs to go and try this place. We tried a few different kinds and every one was delicious!

Wow, first time every trying these amazing and delicious buns. We were looking for coffee and saw the bakery sign and stopped in. Very glad we did. Definitely recommend especially with all the options available. We had the turkey, egg and cheese along with the jalapeño sausage. Both were fresh and full of flavor. We will visit again.
So, so good. We were in town for the day and just popped in for a quick breakfast. We are SO glad that we did! Excellent service and the kolaches were phenomenal!
Best Kolaches EVER!!!! Went back twice the same day. All the the pastries are ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! But the Sausage cheese Kolache won my Heart.

I have to say, this bakery is my wife’s and my favorite places to go for some good danishes! They’re fresh every day, taste amazing, and in the end we always get a dozen or so! The staff here are really nice, good hearted, hard working, and very friendly! I hope to learn their names soon! Highly recommended Danish pastry bakery!
