As the name might suggest this place does sell excellent, freshly backed Kolaches. They sell a variety of other pastry items as well. Although I came towards closing time the shelves were decently stocked and the pastries were fresh and delicious. It appears to be a family-run local business. This isn’t a dine in type bakery shop if that is what you are interested in. I enjoyed my experience with this bakery and I will probably be back.
It was pretty good, the ladies were nice, and I tried the spinach and feta kolache & a pumpkin Danish. Both were fairly enjoyable, I think the spinach and feta would taste really good with an egg on there too! The only thing I didn't like was the ratio of filling to bread on the Danish! I still ate it and enjoyed it!
Been here a few times now and had a good variety of sweet and savory. Service is pleasant and food is pretty good. Anything with cheese seems kind of dry, I think there is a lack of cheese. The sausage gravy was also much drier than I expected, even fresh out of the oven, but nice taste. I've never had kolache outside of this place so idk if that's how it's supposed to be or not. I prefer the elongated savories because the round ones have too much breading imo....
