Not good at all. Service was mediocre and I could have had better quality food from Captain D's.
Cute little place with great homecooked food selections. Easily located off the freeway
Their house specialty, blackberry BBQ pork chop is delicious!
It was a little disappointing. Place is cute, food was ok. I wouldn’t rush to go back there again.
The food is just as good as Chets ever was; well except the fries, they are awful. However the price has been raised to beyond reasonable. 12.99 for a fried mullet lunch special is crazy. Mullet is like 2 dollars a lb and you get far less than a lb. So like maybe a dollar worth of fish for 12.99 is not a good deal. A 9.99 lunch special would be far more reasonable.
We went in late Friday evening. First impression was questionable. Not many items on the menu but they do have several specials. We were amazed! The food was fabulous. My husband had the mullet dinner and I had the combination platter with mahi mahi and oysters. Everything was perfect. The wait staff were very friendly and attentive. We didn't wait long for our food. We definitely will be going back.
We go about twice a month. Every fish selection was (is) perfect. Salmon is perfect. Best kept secret in Pace, FL.
The food was great. The waitress was very good till the end. We wanted dessert. But was never offered. Just the bill and asked if we wanted drinks to go. Made us feel rushed. Overall good experience. Just carry that through till the end. We will be back.
The Southern Pearl never disappoints. The dishes are always delicious and everything I've ever gotten has been great. Try the crab cakes, conecuh sandwich, and conecuh crusted fish.
Not horrible food by any means but, the food needs something. A little spice, heat something. I could make fish and shrimp and okra at home and it would have more flavor. Nice place and atmosphere. Nothing to make you want to run back to.

It was a decent meal for a good price. It had slightly run down bathrooms, service was fantastic, food was acceptable. Nothing special just decent.
Excellent crusted trigger fish with creole sauce and asparagus. Our waitress, Lo was also super great! I will be back!
This was a fantastic dining experience! The interior was cute and clean. I ordered the conecuh crusted fish of the day, it was delicious! I finished off with the pecan bread pudding which was also fantastic. I left uncomfortable full, but it was well worth it! Service was great and attentive
Oh yes, seafood done right! We had fried oysters and shrimp. Just the right amount of breading. Breading did enhanced the seafood. Hush puppies were perfect.
Great service from our waitress Jane! We had delicious mullet backbones for an appetizer and our entree was outstanding! We had blackened amberjack with jambalaya and grilled asparagus all with a wonderful cream sauce.
