Good local place to eat. Server was by herself but did an excellent job.

It's a real diner created from a railroad car, which means that it's cramped and cluttered. Diner food, which means it's rich and greasy. Friendly service. Go for the experience, not the food.

Authentic retro atmosphere and Southern-charm service make for a good combination.

Perfect place to grab a burger, fries and a root beer! I think they have really good Root beer here!

My husband and I visited 3 weeks ago. The service was fast and the servers were friendly. I got the peanut butter milk shake, Frisco melt with sweet potatoe fries. The food was yummy. I love that they served the fries with a dipping mixture (just needed more). The fries were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Perfect. The frisco melt could have been smashed to make it better. My husband got the ham club. The ham was thick sliced. We liked it and don’t think it deserves a 4 but wasn’t a 5 for us. 4.5 is a perfect fit.

Been eyeing this place for a few days since I saw its been around since '32 (that's in the 20th century for you young ones🤣).
Awesome little spot, literally in an old dining car. Plays nothing but older tunes, has vinyls all down the walls, and makes handbattered onion rings and handmade burgers, with uneven edges and centers that are just a little more plump than the rest.
The only things you can add on are cheese and bacon, and you get to choose from the standard veggies and condiments. No frills, no fancy bullshit, just a good American cheeseburger. There's a lot more on the menu, but I came here for one reason only.
Best little burger joint I've been to since Arctic Roadrunner in AK. I'll definitely come here each time I'm working this area.

Chey was wonderfully attentive, and her recommendations were incredibly spot on
Hannah, while not our server, we were amazed at how non-stop she was moving past the counters and handling everything Chey wasn't. Eddie and Brandon in the Kitchen made magic happen on the flattop, serving nigh on perfect burgers, crispy and not too salty fries, onion rings, and corn nuggets. Perhaps most mindblowing was the fact that my wife, who usually despises mushrooms, couldn't stop eating the fried and grilled mushrooms!
There wasn't a single miss while we were there, everything we were looking for and more! We will be looking forward to coming back for more, and simply can't understand how this has any less than 4.9 stars. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

The food was delicious. I had a burger and onion rings. Both tasted and looked homemade. The onion rings weren’t the ones that all the other restaurants serve and had a distinct flavor. The food came out without much of a wait. There was a bit of a line at check out but it was also lunch rush and they were serving customers inside and juggling pick up orders.

Visit the oldest diner in Florida, take picture and tell you friends about your experience. But most of all enjoy the diner style food. It was good and the friendly service was tops. Lots of fun and a great dining experience.

This landmark of North Central Florida is a must-visit restaurant. It is very small, so don't go during crowded times. The entire restaurant is on a train car. There is limited parking and seating available, so you may need to wait. Prices are low and the food is authentic. We ordered milkshakes because we saw the old milkshake machines, where they are actually hand-turned. They have the best burgers in Palatka, but I go for breakfast. The interior is crammed, so don't be offended. The bench seating needs to be replaced, and it hurts your butt. I didn't get to see the bathrooms, but they make a genuine effort to ensure everything is clean. It is a unique experience, bring the kids while places like this still exist.

I was very hesitant about dining here with it being so old and small. I pictured unsanitary conditions and overcooked greasy food. I was beyond wrong. In fact, I was so impressed I came back a second time within a week!
I will continue to make the 45 minute drive to this diner frequently, it's that good! The fried chicken is juicy and the breading is dry and crispy, not greasy at all. The portions are nice! The chili is amazing, and the chili cheese fries are so good it feels like you have stepped back in time.
The atmosphere is truly nostalgic!! The staff are all friendly and attentive. I would give this place 10 stars if I could.

Hadn't eaten here in probably 15 years. Had the 1/2 lb. bacon cheese burger all the way and onion rings. It was excellent! The only issue was the dirty table.
