I've missed Captain D'S It was everything I thought it would be. And service has always been friendly. I don't live in Palatka but come here couple times a week for work and always stop by.

What happened to the best Captain Ds,I ordered through the drive thru, got home my order was halfway right,I ordered the 8pc shrimp, 2pc fish special and received a 2pc fish dinner, thenthe quality of the food was as good either,the fish have gone from filays to skinny finger fish,and they had a odd sour taste, my fries were cold and hard,even the coleslaw tasted different and the hush puppies were over cooked,I'm sorry but,I can't say anything was good this time except my sweet ice tea was the best thing,diffently not as good as when the restaurant first opened. Won't be back for quite q while.

Ok so me and my husband dined here on Oct 19 2025 the frys were cold everything else was fine food wise. The ac must be broken as it was extremely hot inside.
I had a great experience thanks to a cashier ( Paige) helped me out when my card declined and payed through cash app . In my book she saved the day for me and my son . Food is always decent and people are respectful and nice.

I don't often come here. This is the worst that's ever been! My shrimp and fish had a smell and taste to it that didn't taste right!! My fries and my hush puppies were burnt!! Everything was totally disgusting. What I let down. Not impressed if I can give you a zero star I would!!! Very unhappy with this and with you!!
