This little Mexican restaurant that is downtown Palatka has some great food and has some potential to be an amazing restaurant especially with the Renaissance that is happening downtown and how business is building up in the area. The quality of the food is pretty good and the presentation is pretty much what you would expect for most Mexican restaurants. I would say that my biggest issues are that the portion sizes for some of their pricier plates could be a little bit more, the hotter salsa is very vinegary and runny, the atmosphere and Decor could definitely stand to have a little bit more cleanliness, and the service definitely needs to be improved a little bit...... of the three times I have been here two of the times we had to wait 10 minutes just for our server to come and take our payment. Because of how close it is to an excellent Brewery I will more than likely be back but if I had to choose a different Mexican restaurant over this Mexican restaurant that was within walking distance, I would probably choose the other one.

Been here many times. Ordered the fajitas and came with less than 5 ounces of meat. It didn’t even make two full tacos. For $22 one would expect 8/10 ounces of meat.

Went here (shamefully) 30 mins before closing. We didn't want to be too much trouble, but we are traveling and were starving, so we quickly ordered a few tacos. They were so good! And the salsa was really good, too. Tasted strongly of cilantro, which I like, so no problem for me. The waitress kept our glasses full.

My favorite Mexican restaurant, every time I go which is numerous, never had a complaint. Owner is awesome, always has time to talk to you like family. Both the salsa and beef were seriously salty. Don't waste your money. Go to Velchoff's down the same street facing the river.
