Had dinner at Mariachiles in downtown Palatka this evening. Nice restaurant with authentic Mexican n Mexican American foods. Lots of choices and very plentiful helpings. 2 of us had Enchiladas Suprema and was delicious with some leftover for later. Clean environment and everything was great except a lil miscommunication in ordering, instead of 2 plates we were originally given 1 plate to share but was corrected and 2nd plate was plated and served within couple of minutes....
Cute place. Nice people. Good music. Fun ambience. Great salsa. My husband's fajita was sizzling, as expected, but the chicken in my stuffed avocado was skimpy and cold. Otherwise the stuffed avocado was creamy and delicious.
My husband and I tried Mariachiles today for the first time, and we were not disappointed! The queso and salsa both tasted fresh and flavorful. I got the beef barbacoa chimichanga, and my husband got quesabirria tacos. We both agreed that they put plenty of meat in our meals, which was great.
The only downside was that the prices were a bit high (queso was $9 for a small bowl), and there was an extra charge for using credit card, but other than that we loved the food.
