Stopped in on my way to Gainesville because I wanted to try their basil tomato grilled cheese.I was not disappointed!The atmosphere is student union, if that's a thing, quiet, everyone was friendly with each order prepared very well.Served hot and fresh with potato salad.Great lunch. Very enjoyable.Well, worth my time!

The Lunchbox is a secret place, tucked away inside the St. Johns River State College located in Palatka. They have delicious ceasar chicken salad wraps and mushroom Swiss burgers. Their fries are like shoestring fries, made fresh with each order. Kelly makes some of the best sweet tea too! This hidden gem stays in my lunch rotation. The line only gets long when classes let out, but service is quick! There's a nearby pool table if you want to get in a game while you are there. It's a solid choice for lunch if you like supporting a small business.
