My daughter and I went to Cocina Cafe off Malabar Rd in the Publix shopping plaza. They literally served us under cooked meat and gave us an attitude when we brought it to their attention. As you can see in the photo the chicken was not fully cooked. My daughter was so disgusted she threw up. They offered us to switch meals but we had to pay the difference in pricing. We had to wait to even get our money back. You would think they would be apologetic and try to resolve the matter with a more courteous attitude. Be very careful and make sure you check you food

so I went to this restaurant to pick up some food when I got there the place was so busy. I decided to wait outside on the table when I went in to get the food they said I purposely tried to abandon the order these people had no regard or respect for me whatsoever. After speaking to the manager, it just got worse. You would think One would be calm versus the other. They all had a nasty attitude. I’m not sure why, but I wish them the best of luck I never went back it’s been a 1 year plus

Very delicious food. The potato balls and empanadas are great. Staff is very friendly and are very patient with non Spanish speaking customers who mispronounce the dishes. (Haa ha me!) Dinning room is clean. Only draw back for me is the chairs are hard. But that's a me problem not a them problem. Highly recommended.

The experience I had at Covina cafe’ was exuberant…Wonderful cook(s) . The item of choice that I ordered was the smash burger ?& fries combo. The hamburger patty was way bigger than I thought it would be -way to go Cocina cafe. The fries ? were hot,hot freshly made. Cocina cafe doesn’t give you just any container for the food, they give you this fancy little to go box container , which is cute ? adorable, and keeps the sandwich meal warm and ready to eat…. I was impressed with cleanliness ,the service and over all experience. I had the tripleta sandwich and was amaźing . I like the outdoor seating area which was also clean and oeganized. I definitely highly recomend this place .
I went there and they said it’s a Latin Caribbean restaurant, I saw like all the flags, only Haiti’ flag is missing and I’m wonder why they put the Dominican Rep flag but not Haiti’s
We recently purchased pastries from cocina cafe. We went to go eat them (same day within 15 minutes of purchasing them) and we realized they had mold. We called to let them know and not once did we receive an apology. She instead said “that weird they’re made fresh everyday” as if we were making it up. We were also told to bring them back and we would either receive a “credit” or get replacement pastries. When we brought them back the girl took them to the kitchen and brought back two new ones instead of offering a credit. At this point it was pointless arguing. It was very clear that they weren’t apologetic and really didn’t care about people possibly getting sick.
