El Mezcalito Mexican Grill

I highly recommend El Mezcalito Mexican Grill! The food is authentic and served with the utmost consideration to the needs of the patrons. The staff is amazing and quite caring and efficient. I have been visiting this venue for over two years, and it has become my favorite Mexican restaurant in the locality. I wish my best for its continuing success! 🙂

They used to be so good and great service, we loved that place. The last view times and especially yesterday it was horrible service. No one cares about you, totally unorganized, nobody responsible for a table, you will just have to wait. We were only 2 people and the food came 10 minutes apart and other tables were served in between us.
Waiting 15 minutes to pay, had to walk up front just to get their attention and have to wait to get change. Used to be better when the manager/owner was there like a year ago. Sad we have to leave our favorite mexican

Went in w/my daughter & granddaughter for lunch. There was inly 1 other table seated. My daughter ordered a taco salad & a taco for the baby, I got enchiladas which had no mention of guacamole on the menu. When her food arrived the dish was swimming as if the beans hadn’t been drained so everything was soaked, not edible. The baby’s taco was fine. Almost 10 mins later my plate was brought out but it had guacamole on top which I had to tell her I couldn’t accept the plate because I’m allergic to avocados. She had an attitude still trying to set it down. I said again that I can’t have it because of an allergy and it wasn’t listed on the menu. She agreed it wasn’t and took the plate back. 2 minutes later she brought the same plate back and my daughter asked if she had just scrapped the guacamole off and she said yes. We explained that with an allergy that isn’t acceptable that I can’t have it on my food and she continued to huff and stare at us trying to set the plate down. We said again that I can’t have it because of an allergy and she finally walked away without a word. A few minutes later a manager came over and my daughter explained what happened and he just stood there. So she asked if we could just pay for the baby’s taco and our drinks and leave. He too walked away without a word. Never an apology from any staff for the rudeness or for trying to serve food after being told multiple times it was an allergy concern. Beware.

Food used to be great here. Now you're getting pre frozen Walmart veggies, overly fatty beef and do yourselves a favor and don't order a burger. Only positive about the unbearably hard burger bun would've been that if I got shot at I could've used it to block the bullets. The burger beef was awful.

Not sure what happened but this went from my favorite Mexican place to I'm not coming back. Too bad.

It is not so much about the food, but the take out service.
If you dine in, then you will definitely enjoy it. Our problem with this place, when we want a take out, that it is really hard to get through to them over the phone.
The website is pretty much broken - no contact info, no hours, no menu. Just spent over 15 minutes trying to reach somebody; finally gave up. It's been like this for a while. Dining in though is really good

First time in. Might return.
Restaurant was clean and our service from our server was top notch. Low marks come from the food. Got mix and match tacos, corn taco shell split apart on the first bite on the first taco, corn tortilla tasted good but was soo soft it couldnt hold together, so my tacos turned into nachos with the supplied chips. TIP you should serve the tacos on double corn tortilla. if i were to come back i would get them on flour tortilla just so i could hold them together and eat as what i ordered a taco, meat was cooked well, but bland, al pastor taste only of pineapple, asada was bland had to add hot sauce, and chorizo was crispy and not to salty. Chorizo had the most flavor. Not the best, not the worst mexican I've had in the area. 3 out of 5.

The food was bland and thrown together with cheap ingredients.

To start the chips and salsa were really good. The chips fresh from the fryer. The salsa had a good but that was about it.

The cheese enchiladas were cold and even the cheese inside wasn’t melted.

The tamales were all masa and less than a teaspoon of meat.

The chilli relleno was all breading 1/2” thick. The actual stuffed pepper inside once I peeled the top layer pf breading off was ok.

The jalapeño poppers were ok, but $8 for two…

The beans had no flavor. And the rice had Lima beans in it, more like Chinese fried rice.

The red sauce tasted more like canned pizza sauce. The white sauce had no flavor. Old El Paso red sauce has more flavor.

Very disappointing. We have been trying different Mexican restaurants in Brevard, and to date this one has been the worst…so far. Even Taco Bell is better.

Now the atmosphere look nice and enjoyable, better than most. While I only had interaction with a couple hostesses, they greeted me right a way and had smiles that were awesome.

So I don’t know if the cooks were off, the receipts were awful or a combination of both. What ever it was or is, we are not going back. Too many good Mexican restaurants nearby.

Fantastic service - fast, courteous, friendly, and accurate. Food was fresh, delicious and very abundant. Highly recommend and will be back as regulars.
