The jerk chicken and rice & peans were delicious! I am going back!

Visiting Florida for the first time, I was excited to try Jamaican cuisine—something we don’t really have back home in Iowa. We have oxtail where I’m from, but I had never tried Jamaican-style oxtail before. To be honest, I don’t think I’ve even met more than three Jamaicans in my life. But that’s beside the point.
The oxtail? Hands down, some of the best I’ve ever had. Tender, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. The cabbage was absolutely on point—fresh, seasoned just right, and the perfect complement to the meal. Now, the rice and peas (or as I’d call it, beans and rice) weren’t exactly my favorite. And trust me, back home, I’m no stranger to beans and rice. I’d rate that part a solid 3.75/5, but overall, the meal was a great experience. Definitely worth trying if you’re ever in Florida!

By recommendation of my cousin Emily; who, by the way, has never dined here before; we found this jewel of a restaurant, we are from Costa Rica and finding this restaurant was God sent! The customer service, the food and the background music was by far, the best we've had. We order the Rice and Beans with the jerk chicken and the rice and beans with the curry chicken. It was absolutely delicious! Then we order the Patti mild and spicy which was freshly made less than a minute before. (To die for good!) They also have ice cream so creamy is a sin to have just one spoon full! You just can't go wrong whatever you order. Do yourselves a favor and if you are in town, try them out.
I came for the Kwanzaa Celebration and I was not disappointed.. love love

***Update*** I mostly only get jerk pork from here, and I am very disappointed with the customer service as of late. I often call before I go to make my order because the items on the menu are hit or miss. They'll have it today and not tomorrow. I called 10 minutes ago today to ask if they have jerk pork, and I was told yes. Upon arriving there ready to order that and some other items, I was told that they don't have jerk pork. Not only do I waste my gas to drive here, but I also waste my time, which is very valuable to me. Unfortunately for them, they've lost a loyal customer, and I'll make sure no one in my family or any of my friends visit here again. The "just okay" food is not worth the horrible customer service.
