from here visiting from Kansas City, Missouri. I ran into this place by accident and decided to go in and give it a try.

I used to live in Medellin, Colombia for a few months back in 2021. one of my favorites there was the bandea Paisa ,Bañuelos and their carne a la parrilla.

I tried their own recipe which is the La estancia plate which consists of chicken, beef, pork and that fried pork belly with some rice, some beans and a salad. not quite the same stuff that bandea Paisa pasta has but close to it. and this is the first time I had a club Columbia beer since I stayed in Medellin Columbia.

The meat was seasoned really well. I really enjoyed it. the plantains were tasty and the beans and rice was just as good as it was back in Columbia. however, the tomatoes in the salad wasn't really that fresh and I wished they could have put some avocado with this plate. otherwise it was really good and I enjoyed the food. The grilled steak was amazing. the best thing on there and the chimichurri was amazing on that steak as well.

if I'm ever back in the area I will get his place to try again because they had a really good arepa and it was actually better than most that I had in Columbia.

if you want to try that Colombian taste, I would recommend you get this place a try.

I had lunch here with some coworkers this past week and it is a pretty good place to eat. I can’t vouch for its authenticity but my Colombian friend says it is maybe 60-70% authentic. I enjoyed the steak which was cooked to my liking and quite tasty. They were very accommodating to my food intolerances. The service was just ok. I did not get a refill on my water but thankfully asked for a glass with no ice so I’d have more to begin with. It is a bit expensive for what you get. Just the steak and fries I got for lunch was over $20. However, overall it was a pretty good place to eat.

Service sucks here they will take Colombians order over white people waited 30 mins for food meanwhile they never even put in my order people who came after me were already eating!!!

We bought a pork rind and two empanadas to take away. The chicharrón was very delicious, I give it a 5. But the empanadas not so much, I honestly expected them to be better, I give them a 3, it seems as if they had mixed the corn dough with wheat flour, so it doesn't look like an authentic Colombian empanada.

This restaurant is the total package. Amazing food, great service, reasonable prices, large portions. Highly recommend Bandeja Paisa.

This place has thousands of positive reviews on Google, but you wouldn’t be able to tell from the outside at first glance. It looks unassuming but inside the restaurant was pretty busy on a Saturday night. The portions were huge and everything tasted really good. The service was also good. I would recommend this spot if you’re looking for some hefty Columbian food.
