A group arrived about 30 minutes after we did without a reservation and, after standing near the host stand for a bit, was seated before us. Another walk in party was also skipped ahead of us, which was frustrating and left a poor first impression, enough to make me hesitant about coming back. On top of that, our bartender came across as rude and kept giving my wife dirty looks.

Aside from those issues, BrickTops was great overall. I highly recommend making a reservation, as we ended up waiting over an hour. My wife ordered the meatloaf and I had the steak frites. The food and drinks were great but service was not on par.

I’m not sure what happened to the days of when a restaurant screwed up, they would take accountability and actually do something to make it right. Today was my first visit to Bricktops Palm Beach. 1. The server forgot to bring an Iced tea. 2. The server forgot to bring our appetizer, lobster bisque. 3. The server did not bother to check in with us to see if everything was to our liking or if we needed anything else. In my day as a server this was LAW, we called it 2 bites 2 minutes. After food is delivered, check on the guest. Never happened so I wasn’t able to get another OJ with my brunch, which I must say was delicious. Yes I did talk to management and received a sorry. I like ending on a positive, the food was excellent. Apps: deviled eggs and lobster bisque, we finally received it in the middle of our entree. Pecan waffle and croque monsieur. Food 5 star, service 1 star. Just a suggestion, with so many options in town, take care of your guest and make them want to come back even if you screw up.

The booth sitting was tight, and it was a very noisy atmosphere. However, the apps..shrimp cocktail and deviled eggs with bacon delish! The entrees were done to perfection! A tavern burger, filet mignon, tuna tartare, meatloaf with the sides all delicious!
Our server was always there bringing us drinks, and checking in.
We took our dessert to go as our meal was filling♡
We also had a nut allergy at our table, so we were told they took precautions with preparation of meals.
The valet service and hostess were just as attentive!

Very disappointed this time. Food took 45+ minutes to arrive, eggs were completely overcooked and I think they might have served a Chardonnay for Sancerre (or it was a terribly oaky Sancerre by the glass which would be an odd choice). Prior experiences here were better so willing to put it on the account that they can’t deal with a full house during high season. To be fair, they comped the overcooked food, which was the right thing to do.

I have been a loyal customer of both River House and BrickTop’s for years, and I’ve always chosen these restaurants for personal dining as well as business meetings. After today’s experience at the Palm Beach location, I will never step foot in another BrickTop’s-owned or -operated establishment again.

What happened today was not just disappointing — it was unacceptable, unprofessional, and frankly an embarrassment to the BrickTop’s brand.
The service was horrible from the moment we sat down. The server had no personality, no warmth, and no professionalism whatsoever. Water was spilled all over the table, and instead of replacing the table sheet like any reputable restaurant would do, the manager Brad simply wiped it down with towels as if that was an appropriate solution.

But the real issue, the reason I am writing this review, is the appalling behavior of the manager, Brad. Quite frankly, he is the worst manager I have ever encountered in my life.
When I tried to express my concerns respectfully, he repeatedly talked back, cut me off, and wouldn’t even allow me to finish a sentence. The level of disrespect he showed was astonishing. And to top it off, he tried to “fix” the situation by saying he would give the appetizer for free, in a tone that felt condescending, as if he was doing us a favor or treating us like a charity case. It was insulting.

This level of arrogance and lack of training does not happen by accident. Senior management is clearly asleep at the wheel for a manager to behave this way toward paying customers — let alone a loyal one.

The entire culture at this BrickTop’s location is in desperate need of retraining, restructuring, and accountability.

I will never visit this location again, nor will I ever consider hosting any business meetings at any BrickTop’s or River House properties moving forward. You should be ashamed of yourselves for allowing a manager like Brad to represent your brand.

I've been eating at this restaurant for years because I'm a local. The waiter missed the mark. He actually appoligized for the bad service. He knew he screwed up. Nice guy over all just not trained well.
