The food at Buccan is great. The menu is interesting and has a lot of variety. Dishes are well prepared and fresh. I dined as a couple and we shared the short rib empanada, a must and tried the tuna appetizer, tasty but messy to eat-not a small bite. We opted for burgers for dinner and they were perfect as well as fresh fries. The service is very good overall. A bit loud as it is a “scene” but most annoying is the valet. Not enough people, not enough space, drivers stop in the middle of the road. It's an absolute mess.

Our waitress was definitely not trained properly. Taking plates when people were not finished. Giving some of the party a silverware change and others not. Took forever to get two glasses of white wine for the ladies yet the rest of the table were served their wine and cocktails. I haven't been here in 5 years and now I know why. And the bathroom experience. It's like being back in a club in New York in the 80's waiting in line in a warehouse directed by a rude staff member. Only then the staff member spoke English. Last night the staff member just grunted. Never never again!

Buccan is a fun place to dine as the atmosphere is upbeat and menu is inventive. We enjoyed most of what we ordered and loved the short rib empanada, spicy pork taco, hot dog panini, swordfish, snapper and burger. We'd pass next time on the spinach salad and the shrimp with capellini, the pasta was way overcooked which is a surprising error from this kitchen it should not have been sent out.
