Buccan was highly recommended and it lived up to the hype. Very good food and lively upscale atmosphere. First of all, get a reservation. Place is packed. You arrive and there’s a line at the door of people with reservations. It’s loud, crowd is dressed up, and super active. Food is very good - but not as excellent as it used to be. Possible the crazy pace night after night has taken food down a notch. Highly recommend the tuna and steak tartare appetizers. Both excellent. For main - the short rib was the highlight. We were disappointed with the yellow snapper and Agnolotti pasta. Service was good but not super friendly. Overall good experience and recommend - reservation a must.

Hostess, personable..Table request honored. Server Marley, leaves MUCH to be desired. She greeted us, took our order, and that was the LAST time that she checked in on us. Another couple sat next to us, & began talking to Marco, a manager, we recognized from another restaurant, & we exchanged pleasantries. Then, the food for that couple, on our left, began arriving at rapid pace. Marco was gone by then. We still hadn't received our appetizers. Then, Marco dropped by and asked how we were doing, and we told him that we were STILL waiting for appetizers. And, I told him that Marley was IGNORING US 100%. All while the other couple was still receiving food, some of which was complimentary. Finally, Marco brings us our appetizers and asked if we needed anything else. Marley never refilled our water, although she did for tables on both sides of us. She also asked if the other diners were doing ok, NEVER ONCE ASKING US! She was attentive to every table along the banquet, except ours. After we received our entrees, she finally stopped by. The damage had been done by this point, and we were furious. We expected Marco to step up, but he didn't. This is not the first time that the wait staff has bent over backwards for people that they know. That is why we stopped coming to Buccan for a couple of years. But, we decided to give it another try. NOTHING HAS CHANGED. At one point, Marley, was looking at cell phone pictures with the guests, talking, laughing, and did everything but sit down and eat with them. We didn't ask for special treatment,or complimentary food, but to respected, valued, and treated the exact way that you treat everyone else, whether they're Palm Beach regulars, or not. We dine in Palm Beach frequently, and Buccan is THE ONLY RESTAURANT that treats us differently. After much thought, I do believe that the fact that we are a mixed couple, played a BIG ROLE, in Marley's behavior. What else could it be.? This is our LAST VISIT. We are DONE!

Had not been in a while as it's hard to get last minute reservations and they made a few changes to the menu which was nice to see, but the food is still delicious, every dish we tried, and service excellent as always!

Our waiter Francesco was amazing and engaging . Great suggestions above and beyond the norm. Items are either for sharing or you can have your own. Menu has several selections and the snapper was outstanding .

Took my husband who has dietary issues for the first time. Andy (mgr) who helped us was excellent. He was able to accommodate us. Can't say enough about Buccan. The food is superb. Sam are waitress was excellent, she went over the menu with us and gave excellent options. Going back soon.
