A most delightful day enjoying high tea at the Flagler Museum

Went for tea with my mother and daughter and spent the afternoon visiting the museum. This was a costly tea and was barely average. The view is beautiful, the servers were friendly and courteous. But….. the tablecloth was dirty with crumbs, so we were moved to another table. The tea was good, but no choice of tea. Their “special” lemonade was nothing spectacular. We felt that the food was a bit sparse and tasted decent, nothing more. Skip tea service and just visit this wonderful museum.

We booked the tea service as part of a museum tour and it wasn't crowded during the week. You can't beat the location/view and the staff was very friendly and made us feel welcome. I'm a vegetarian and was able to eat not only the pastries, but also several of the savory sandwiches. I took one star off as the prix-fix menu is expensive and I would've expected the food to be excellent, but it was "only" great. Would still recommend!

This is a must, when visiting the Flagler museum. High tea was great, service awesome, fabulous water views. Of course, this isn't tea at the Corinthia! But we were delighted by the selection for $30!

Being Brits we like a good afternoon tea and this one was excellent. The location is excellent which gets it off to a good start but the service is also friendly and efficient. We had none of the issues that other reviewers had in that there is a decaf option and my wife, who only drinks hot water, had a steady supply. They also now serve a nice pink lemonade. The food selection was varied with a good mix between sweet and savoury. I agree with a previous comment about not having to pay to go to the house in order to enjoy afternoon tea. We visited earlier in the week, saw the restaurant and decided to go back which meant spending another $36 but enjoyed our 2nd house visit. Don’t know how they change that as the restaurant is linked to the house. Would highly recommend a visit

Not a restaurant! Imagine warm sickly sweet lemonade, pre-made black tea, and room temperature water with no ICE available! Worse yet, no hot water as my wife had her own decaf tea bag! Food choices were awful and several items were made with mustard. My wife has a severe mustard allergy and the waitress refused to substitute mustard free items. The scones were dry and had horrible sugar icing on them and the brownies tasted as if they came from an airport kiosk. Would only recommend if born without tastebuds!

A bit pretentious but a nice place to visit. The afternoon tea was good and the service was excellent.

After you've visited the Flagler Mansion, extend the experience with the exquisite teas and succulent sandwiches and pastries in the Cafe des Beaux Arts (pris fixe), and take in at your leisure the neoclassical surroundings with the beautiful floral arrangements. A great staff as well.

Beautiful room and views, but disappointing amateurish afternoon tea, as the most crucial and important element, to be served with the scones, is missing. Yes, you guessed it: the clotted cream !!!

We came here after visiting the museum for 1 pm reservation. Not sure if you can come here without buying the museum ticket, because it is located behind the gates. A nice hostess welcomed us and gave us our bill to pay in advance at the entrance. 22$ per person was charged. The cafe wasn't even half full so she gave us a choice of tables. There were only one server, but we weren't in a hurry so we're ok to wait. However, because there is no ordering and just a set menu of everything that was brought out to us after some iced tea/lemonade we didn't have to wait. She explain to us what each piece was following the menu. We got one tea pot of hot black tea and constant refilled of iced lemonade. Sunny weather and atmosphere were just a plus.

We were so amazed to see how much care there was in returning the beauty and glory back to Whitehall. So glad the old hotel section was razed as to not interrupt the view across Lake Worth. We enjoyed the tea prior to going through the museum and it was scrumptious! Loved the Harney and sons signature tea made for the Whitehall museum.

We enjoyed the tea provided by the Cafe des Beaux Arts as part of a tour of the Flagler Museum. The view of the yachts moored in the Intracoastal is lovely and provides a wonderful break in the tour. The tea sandwiches served could be categorized as a "snack" but were very tasty as were the variety of sweets.

Tea came late, after 1/2 hour they brought sandwiches and scones by that time tea was already cold Asked for more tea it came in another 1/2 hour

We were a group of 9 adults who wanted to enjoy the various Flagler offerings so between the docent led and self tours of the museum, we had high tea here. Because the windows are large, views are beautiful. But if you are light sensitive, bring sunglasses & a hat. Several of us kept our sunglasses on. The restaurant had only one other couple there on a Friday so it was slow. The results were that we didn’t have to wait for 2 tables and our food came promptly. Pink lemonade was served, followed by a large & heavy pot of tea which required both hands to lift/pour unless your wrists are extra strong. The presentation of the food was sweet and colorful. There were vegetarian options too which was nice. I thought the bread was a little stale/dry & the portions less substantial than was described when I called to ask. I understand it is not meant to be a biggie sized meal but I was told it would be sufficient as lunch. And it was for most of us but I think we were also being polite & trying to leave more for the others. So if you are looking for a nice experience and you are used to smaller portions, then this is a lovely way to top off your tours. I am glad we tried it.
