We love Cafe Flora and today's lunch was no different. It was a beautiful day to eat in the courtyard and every bite was delicious. The “ugly tomatoes” started our meal, followed by Lovey's Favorite for me - zucchini spaghetti with shrimp and garlic -delicious, I ate every bite. My husband had the Shrimp and Penne, which was also delicious! Our server was attentive without hovering. A fabulous way to spend a Saturday in Palm Beach before heading to the airport! We'll see you again Cafe Flora!!

I ordered a passion fruit cocktail and the guy could not understand my order in english. Then another guy came with glasess said “they dont know I am The waiter!!”. Well this one at the end did not know who ordered what at our table when we had to split the check and it became a mess. He would count the three juices but not know to whom belong. It was my bday but i was so embarrassed in front of my friends ai brought from Hollywood to a “high end” lunch....which turned out to be a mess. Food was mixed up but the taste was great. Thinking if I would ever go back . It was my No1 place to dine.

The wine was fresh, burrata salad was on point and lastly my rigatoni bolognese was delicious! We sat inside to avoid the summer heat, and the little inside area was so cozy!

I strongly advise against visiting this business. My experience was deeply disappointing — the service was unprofessional, the atmosphere unwelcoming, and the overall quality far below what one would expect from any reputable establishment, let alone one situated on Worth Avenue. There are far better options available, and I would not return under any circumstances.

MONIQUE'S SWEET TREATS

I chose Café Flora for a special birthday treat because of its beautiful ambiance and what looked like a lovely dessert and coffee menu online. Unfortunately, my visit was overshadowed by a very disappointing experience.

When I asked one staff member about coffee, I was told they didn’t serve any and was directed to Starbucks down the street. I then asked about dessert and was told no again, followed by, “We’re a restaurant, not a coffee house.” I asked for a menu, and instead of being handed one, I was waved off and told to look in a corner. This felt incredibly dismissive and unprofessional.

Minutes later, another staff member (a Spanish gentleman) was kind, helpful, and handed me a menu that clearly listed both coffee and desserts—exactly what I came for. This proved I was given false information, and I couldn’t help but feel that I was being treated differently due to my skin color, especially after witnessing how attentively non-Black patrons were being helped.

This was not how I expected to spend my birthday, and while the second staff member was a redeeming point, I believe Café Flora’s management should seriously address this type of discriminatory behavior. It was disappointing and unacceptable.

One of my favorite places to eat when I'm in Palm Beach. Could not be lovier setting and the food is divine! The veal and pompano are the best. Highly recommend

Be forewarned that you are probably going to be eating outdoors, which in Palm Beach does mean heat, unexpected rain and bugs. There are plenty of fans for each table and it is a beautiful place to eat. I wasn't overly impressed by the food given the pricing, it needs to be spectacular.
