Beautiful, small space. We sat at sushi counter as our table was running late. I think I'd have preferred our table. Counter was nice though. We had lobster potstickers, wagyu beef w/cucumber salad and super salmon roll. Potstickers had nice amount of filling and bright dipping sauce. Wagyu was very tender and the marinade teriyaki-ish, not overwhelming. Sushi roll was delicious and large. We couldn't finish it. Definitely going back!

Food was great- however it is TINY in there. get ready to be awkwardly and uncomfortably close to your neighbor / diner. And because it's so loud you are forced to hear other people's (annoying) conversations. Servers kept going in and out between our tables which we didn't appreciate having their rear end practically on our food as they took our neighbors order - smh. Will order to go or delivery if a next time. Restaurants need to remember customers go out for food AND pleasant dining experience — ESPECIALLY at this price point.

Well it’s a prestige place not a food place. Few items in menu are exceptional like tuna with fois gra or sashimi. BUT a Japanese place would never make such terrible rice which is a porridge and not a sushi rice in any kind or salads or peking duck. So trendy place like in Miami Beach but not good food

What an exceptional experience thanks to Desiree! She guided us through sake bottle choices, hamachi to nigiri and sushi rolls including deserts and every suggestion was on point. Highlights on dishes were himachi sashimi with plum, lemon yuzu sauce on salmon, pork belly fried rice, salmon sushi roll and not to miss banana foster desert. Overall incredible food and service and so glad we had Desiree to guide our experience!

Though connected to Buccan, Imoto offers its own distinct and elevated dining experience—intimate, elegant, and thoughtfully curated in every way.
The location is fantastic, tucked away just off Worth Avenue on the island. Inside, the ambiance is just right: small, beautifully decorated, dimly lit, and full of energy. Whether you’re on a romantic date, out with friends, or dining with family, Imoto offers the perfect setting for an upscale sushi dinner.
And the food? Consistently perfect. Every dish is plated with care, featuring the freshest ingredients and vibrant presentation. Just like Buccan, it’s clear that each menu item is crafted with intention and creativity; each bite feels refined and memorable.
Some standout appetizers worth highlighting:
Seaweed Salad – Light, refreshing, and balanced with a subtle sesame note.
Edamame – Perfectly salted, a classic done right.
Miso Cod Lettuce Cups – One of the most unique starters: delicate miso cod paired with white asparagus, mandarinquat, and orange glaze served in crisp lettuce cups. Bursting with sweet-savory flavor and texture.
Hamachi Crispy Rice – A favorite! With red curry vinaigrette, ginger, scallion, and a rich red curry aioli, this dish brings heat, crunch, and depth all in one bite.

Imoto is a great little gem! I dined there for my birthday upon a recommendation from my co worker who is very acclimated to Palm Beach / The Breakers area. Needless to say his rec did not disappoint! Food is a bit pricey as you'd expect from PB but all else checked off the boxes. Additionally, the post event customer service was even better than expected! I had left my wallet at the restaurant but had already flown home to another state by the time the restaurant opened the next day. The GM mailed back the wallet to me via fedEx (I emailed them the prepaid shipping label PDF) and was very responsive in my inquiries every step of the way. All in all, I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who is looking for a little something special and chill in the PB area.
