The food is innovative and is excellent! Everything is prepared perfectly! The entire staff is attentive, knowledgeable and friendly. Jovana, the Maitre D is fantastic. La Goulue is not just a restaurant, it is a truly an exceptional dining experience.

Made a reservation for a special occasion 2 weeks in advance. Arrived and was seated in the bar/lounge (which is blocked off from main dining room) at the table closest to the bathroom, while the entire main dining room was 95% empty. Had to go up to the hostess to ask why we were seated there when I had a reservation for a special occasion, and she not only gave me trouble for asking to be moved to a better table but also acted like it was the norm to be seated there when virtually the entire main dining room was empty.

Wonderful restaurant. Great service. Expensive but generally worth it. Cheese soufflé was amazing. Tatar as well. Entrees were ok. My scalloped looked like they sat under the headlamps with dried out sauce. The root vegetable cake with the lamb was cold. Crepe Suzette's were outstanding

The restaurant is ALWAYS FABULOUS!!!!! The cuisine and staff are AMAZING!!! Xavier is THE Host with impeccable style and panache!! I HIGHLY recommend it to Everyone!!!!

Very knowledgeable server, excellent menu choices, very good lamb chops and scallops. The escargot were traditional, which I always like. The only downside were the Ferraris and Lamborghinis revving their engines right next to the window where we were sitting.

Food and service were excellent. The tables for two were VERY close to one another, which was a bit awkward, but I understand they need to fit in as many people as possible. La Goulue is absolutely top-shelf, and a great place for a special occasion. It was a wedding anniversary for us, and we're already talking about going there for our next anniversary. We'd go more often, but it's too expensive for more frequent visits for us, but it's well worth the money if you have it to spend. Thank you to our server Carlos G. for making our evening special. He was wonderful.

Our first time and the food did not disappoint. The service, however, was unnecessarily pretentious. Despite several tables open when we arrived for our dinner reservation, we were seated directly at the kitchen opening. It was honestly laughable. The server was nice, but chose to use an affected accent which seemed slightly charming at first and then seemed silly throughout the evening. Also we had just ordered desserts and drinks (had not yet arrived) and a woman approached our table stating this table did in fact have a reservation and could we please move to the bar. I explained we just ordered desserts and drinks and why, if they needed the table for a reservation, did they have us order at the table. Keep in mind, we had cocktails, appetizers, a bottle of $200+ wine and mains. It was just rude. The food was really delicious but overall given the seating and unfortunate service, there are many other excellent restaurants in the area I'd rather go to. I mean when dinner for 3 is $750, I'd expect a little kindness to go along with my truffles and wine.
