This place has an interesting vibe. The decor, ambiance, music, etc don’t match and don’t fit the over priced items on the menu. I think they’re trying hard to be an uppity place, but the food just isn’t good. Their signature dish is a chunk of chicken covered in cheese sauce that you would find at a run-of-the-mill Mexican restaurant. The food itself was just fine - definitely not worth the price.

Well, for a quite expensive dinner you wouldn’t expect to see these guys running up and down the walls. The staff said “oh but we put out traps!” Wow.

⭐️ A+ for Pretentiousness, F for Hospitality
Ah, Le Bilboquet Palm Beach—where the air is thick with exclusivity, and tourists (or at least certain ones) are politely shown the door. Stopped by to grab a drink at the bar while my wife shopped, only to be promptly asked to leave. The offense? Wearing open-toed sandals. Not flip-flops, not slides—Hermès sandals. But apparently, that’s a crime… for men, at least. Ladies? Feel free to wear whatever you like.
The best part? I had already sat down and was mid-relaxation mode when they decided my footwear wasn’t up to Palm Beach royalty standards. So, unfortunately, I can’t comment on the food or drinks, because I was sent packing before I ever had the chance to taste them.
So, if you’re a guy thinking about stopping by, make sure you’re dressed for the Met Gala—or risk being escorted out like an unworthy peasant. Cheers! (Just not here.)

Good server, just an awful dress code, didn’t let us know before time. I understand why this place is rated only 3.6 stars, but the food is good.

Wonderful ambience. Disappointing food and service.
We’ve been regulars at Le Bilboquet for years. The ambiance is always great. Sadly, the food and service have gone downhill,. It’s no longer the fine dining experience we had come to expect.
This evening our waiter was perfunctory at best. He took away our bread plates without asking if we wanted bread. Twice he brought dirty dishes. Mostly he was just absent.
The NY strip steak was mediocre at best. Not thick, not particular juicy or tasty. The fries were over cooked. The Lobster bisque was tasty but the lobster was scant. The Lobster au Curry was tasty but it had even less lobster. Perhaps 1/4 of a tail.
Sadly. This time the whole experience was disappointing.

I had a very unpleasant experience with the service. I asked to be seated at the bar, but they falsely claimed it was reservation-only. I knew they were lying because I called immediately after and was told that no reservation was needed to sit at the bar. I understand needing a reservation for a table, but why would I need one just for the bar? I will never return to this place, and I’ll make sure my cousin Carolina, also known as Karol G, avoids it too! There are far better options in Miami Beach.

Beware, when you request to have an entree split on two plates there is a $23 UPCHARGE. The Cajun chicken (which is tasty) was a huge portion & we had other things we wanted to try. When we received the check, the $45 chicken was $68. We were completely floored! I felt taken advantage of and robbed. Very unnecessary!

This place has a 3.6 for a reason. Overpriced bland food with sub par service. They attempted to sit our party at a table with different table/chair heights very awkward.
Do not recommend !

Solid food, surprisingly authentic Frenchness (given it’s Palm Beach)
