Sant Ambroeus Palm Beach

I used to drive 1.1 hours from Southwest Ranches to specifically have what I considered to be the best flavored chocolate gelato I’ve ever had. Including in Italy. However, I went yesterday and low and behold they changed the recipe. I felt like I was eating cold cream and sugar. Didn’t even taste like chocolate. I confirmed with the staff that they did indeed changed it. It is now no better than your avg Haagen Dazs crap. Very dissapointed. Hopefully chef reads this and reconsiders going back to the original formula.

For our 22nd wedding anniversary, my husband and I wanted a truly special spot, and a friend recommended Saint Ambroeus in Palm Beach—what a fantastic choice! From the moment we arrived, everything was perfect. The service was top-notch—thank you, David!—and the chef’s talent was evident in every single dish. Every bite was absolutely phenomenal, and the atmosphere was elegant, inviting, and full of charm. Saint Ambroeus made our anniversary unforgettable, and we are already planning our next visit!

This is easily one of my favorite restaurants in Palm Beach—actually, it’s in my top 10 restaurants anywhere. Sant Ambroeus has never let me down. The food, service, and overall experience are always consistent, so I keep returning repeatedly.

I’ve celebrated birthdays here multiple times and worked through most of the menu. My favorites are the pizzas (I don’t even usually like pizza!), the crab pasta, the pancakes, and the desserts. You can’t go wrong with anything on their menu—it’s that good.

Sant Ambroeus is the best chain restaurant I’ve ever been to. If you’re in Palm Beach, this spot is a must. I’m already looking forward to trying their New York City location to see if it lives up to the same level of quality and service.

We were there on 9.2.25 at tbl 45 I think, 2 ladies with a baby. David was awesome and took great care of us. Had a great sense of how much exactly to check up on us mid our girls lunch, talking, not knowing what we want and being nonrushing. Food was excellent. The beets with palm hearts and feta + raviolis. Amazing.

Absolutely Wonderful Experience!

I had the pleasure of dining here recently and everything was simply perfect. The atmosphere was warm, inviting, and beautifully set — the kind of place where you can truly relax and enjoy your time.

But what really made the evening special was our waitress, Lucia. She was an absolute gem — friendly, attentive, and genuinely kind. She made us feel welcome from the moment we sat down, offered excellent recommendations, and ensured that every part of our meal was just right. It’s rare to find someone so professional yet personable. She truly elevated our experience.

The food? Outstanding. Every dish was delicious, fresh, and full of flavor — clearly made with care and passion.

Between the amazing service, fantastic food, and lovely ambiance, I can confidently say this was one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in a long time. Thank you, Lucia, for making it unforgettable!

One of the worst dining experiences I have ever had- maybe a good place for breakfast and possibly lunch but for dinner I wouldn't go back if you literally gave me a free dinner. Dining room and bar area is adjacent to the bakery with kids screaming and running around? Whoever designed this place didn't give it much thought. - $34 ceasar salad that was very average at best- no anchovies etc. Pasta dish was literally noodles with tomato sauce. Ricotta cheescake was so frozen it was difficult to cut. about half dozen medicore italian red wines by the glass- great majority of staff was spanish speaking and not the most professional - not what you expect in a fine Italian restaurant. So many good places not only on Palm Beach Island but even just north in Palm Beach Gardens/Jupiter etc. Seems to cater to those with money who know absolutely nothing about food or ambience, Nightmare experience.

The service and ambience are really nice it’s just too bad the food was lacking in portion size and flavor. We didn’t find much value or memorable dishes in the 4 we ordered. If it weren’t so expensive, we might let it go.
