The Seafood Bar at The Breakers never disappoints—great service as always from The Breakers team and a beautiful setting right on the ocean. The view alone is worth the visit, but the food makes it unforgettable. We had the fried shrimp, swordfish dinner, swordfish sandwich, and scallops—everything was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. A great mix of classic seafood favorites with the signature Breakers touch. Always a pleasure dining here.

The seafood bars of Boca Raton layer luxury and salt air in equal measure, riffing on nautical tradition but refining it into sleek mosaics, polished stone, and dramatic light. They’re pure performance of coastal character, staging oysters and shellfish as architectural jewels. And like the Breakers Palm Beach Hotel, they tell a story where seaside leisure transforms into design — not just dining.

Beyond cruel and inhumane!!! Keeping snakes and reptiles in tiny counter tops that humans are constantly banging on - the poor animals - PURE CRUELTY!! If you care about animals in the slightest - avoid this place at all costs!!!!

Such an amazing spot. The setting is the strongest contribution to the wonderful experiences I have had. At the bar there are typically two friendly bar staff working, with a nice variety of cocktails and wines, and a few beers. There are several large windows facing the ocean, where one can see the waves break along the rocks and is a nice bit of nature. Additionally, the bar is an aquarium with Clownfish and other fishes and corals; this was endlessly entertaining to watch them swim around the room. I've had really nice cocktails here, the latest a passionfruit margarita that was sublime.

Five stars for the burger (one of the best in Palm Beach) and the impeccable service. The only thing more carefully plated than the seafood was the sugar-daddy transactions unfolding at the bar — a true Palm Beach delicacy.

Restaurantji Recommends
Unfortunately this restaurant failed miserably in the food category. This is a seafood restaurant on the ocean. The minimum you should expect is fresh (at least flash frozen, on ice, etc) seafood. Scallops had a very strong ammonia smell and taste which indicated that they are either going bad (hopefully not) or that they were treated heavily with sodium tripolyphosphate making them definitely not fresh - not acceptable at $69 for a dish. Honestly, this is the first time I ate scallops that bad. Overall price is completely out of touch with quality. Crab cakes appetizer was acceptable. Again, not amazing or memorable at $40. Truffle fries side dish luke warm. Key lime pie tasty but again, not memorable. One experience stood out - very impressive service. Server was very attentive, had excellent interaction and fun disposition while remaining very professional. You don't see that often in restaurants that add 20 percent service charge automatically. Yes, the manager came by and offered to take the scallops off the bill. Nice touch but that's not the point. The point is that a seafood restaurant on the ocean that charges 60 dollars for an entree and does not serve fresh seafood is not on the list to recommend.

This place keeps an eel in a two-dimensional glass prison. The poor creature can’t even lift its head—it’s pure cruelty disguised as décor

Food is beyond average. worth about $50 total for a meal for 2, not over $250. Do not go out of your way to eat here. We were sat in the back of the restaurant surrounded by walls. When asked the hostess if we could seat at any of the 2 open tables by the windows she said no, they were for other guests. Then saw (no judgement) a man with an escort being sat there. The table next to us left all of their food (5 people) and had a manager come and apologize for the bad experience as well.

The first night of a stay we always trot down to the Seafood Bar. It just sets the tone for the trip. I've gone back and forth on this place over the years. Today was incredible. The tuna tartar tostada was beyond good - perfectly seasoned, fresh chilled tuna on top of the crispiest fresh tostada. To boot, the views of the Atlantic never disappoint and tonight we were treated to a gorgeous rainbow after a brief storm had passed.
The service is always on point.
