Great nite on Monday for Trivia Nite. Full house and lots of laughs, however, we didn't win.
Wife, Daughter, & I had a fantastic stay earlier this month. The whole staff was wonderful, attentive, & very accommodating. The location is perfect, you can walk to the Worth Avenue for shopping & restaurants. Beach access is a few minutes walk. The staff can even drive you there with their own private area with chairs & umbrellas to use which is included with our stay. Pool / restaurant area is very well kept, very relaxing. We recommend staying here to get away & have a nice low key, relaxing time. And if you want to go into the city, West Palm Beach, a quick Uber/Lyft ride will do.
Some of the best service I have ever received. The attention to detail is unreal and the hotel smells unbelievably good. Phillip was absolutely incredible.
This place was always a family favorite. I didn't think or expect it could get better but the new changes are noticeably fantastic from in-hotel decor, service, stores, service and pillow top chocolatesđŤđ´đ¤

Ah, The Colony Hotel â where the pink isnât just a color, itâs a lifestyle. From the moment I stepped inside, I knew I had entered a realm where reality politely checked out and was replaced by a pastel fever dream curated by someone who thinks subtlety is for peasants.
The staff? Oh, absolutely flawless. They somehow managed to be everywhere at once, like very polite ghosts trained by the Ritz. I sneezed once and someone handed me a lavender-scented monogrammed tissue before the echo even finished.
My room was a Barbie dreamhouse reimagined for adults with a trust fund. Everything was so stylish it hurt my self-esteem. The minibar had Fiji water, rosĂŠ, and a moral crisis about whether to drink the $24 cashews (spoiler: I did).
The pool scene? Just a casual gathering of sun-kissed magazine covers with matching dogs. I tried to blend in, but I think my Target flip-flops betrayed me.
Oh, and letâs not forget the complimentary beach cruiser bikes â because nothing says âI'm effortlessly fabulousâ like sweating profusely while pedaling past billionaires pretending to read the Wall Street Journal.
Truly, if youâre looking for elegance, opulence, and the occasional existential crisis about your own life choices, The Colony is the place. Canât wait to return... as soon as I refinance my soul.
Fantastic dinner and atmosphere. Eat outside in the garden area. You wonât be disappointed!
The Colony Hotel is a beloved Palm Beach Staple located on Palm Beach Island. Some people will say that The Colony is more than a place to stay â it is a Palm Beach Experience.
This Retro-Chic Hotel painted in Pink Pastels opened in 1947 and is full of Charm and History. The hotel has a combination of 89 rooms including 16 suites and Designer Villas. The staff is very accommodating and friendly.
The Lobby has Live Music where everyone gathers. The Hotel features a restaurant, lounge, shops, a Spa along with Beach Yoga that is extremely popular.
Do you travel with your four-legged companions? If so the Colony Hotel is exceptionally pet-friendly providing doggie beds, bowls and treats. Itâs pretty cool.
There are Two Pools each with Cabanas and âWaiter Serviceâ. The Themed Pool Parties are a blast.
On the patio there is an array of Fun things to do from Bingo during the Day to Trivia at Night which is a lot of fun. The beach has âBeach Butler Serviceâ providing everything from snacks and foods to the Set-Up and Break-Down of Beach Chairs, Umbrellas and so forth.
Parking can be difficult, and the Hotel does encourage guests to use âValet Parkingâ.
So if in town, I definitely recommend visiting this whimsical icon of Palm Beach Florida.
I commend the decency and courteous act of the young man (on July 12 at 2:10 pm, I regret not writing down his name) who assisted my family and I down the south entrance stairs. Seeing my wife is pregnant and our beach wagon full in addition to a toddler with us, this gentlemen didn't hesitate to help us. We were not guests of the hotel yet he still assisted and even talked a little baseball when he noticed my Blue Jays hat and him being a Tigers fan.
Thank you so much for being kind.
Best hotel on the island! From the decor to service and location. Bob at the bar at Swiftys daytime is like talking to an old friend. Chris at the bar at night is so friendly and makes amazing drinks.
Our stay was truly wonderful. We were impressed by the impeccable service, from the attentive pool staff to the gracious front desk and amazing housekeeping team. The thoughtful details throughout the hotel made our experience exceptional. We especially appreciated the complimentary transportation within a two-mile radius, a convenient touch that added to the ease of our visit. The room was filled with charming gestures, like a personalized goodnight treat and a note that made us feel genuinely welcomed. Everything was flawless.

An Absolute Palm Beach Gem!
The Colony Hotel is pure magic. From the moment we arrived, we were enveloped in an atmosphere of charm, elegance, and classic Palm Beach luxury. We enjoyed cocktails that were just as exquisite as the surroundingsâthoughtfully crafted and served with flair. The ambiance is unmatched: playful yet refined, with custom De Gournay wallpaper thatâs truly a work of art. Every corner of this boutique beauty feels like a curated dream. The Colony is more than a hotelâitâs an experience. Canât wait to return!
Had an amazing lunch at Swiftys! The crab cakes were 11/10, everything was delish - we tried the artichoke, salad, shrimp tacos and crème brÝlÊe its was all fantastic. Our server was fantastic as well!
I have had the good fortune to have visited the Colony repeatedly for decades.... I have many fond memories spent there visiting as a teenager with my mom in the 80s and throughout my adulthood.
Went for a womenâs lunch in. Itâs a beautiful hotel has that old Florida Palm beach feel. I love it. I would love to go back for a weekend stay.
