The owners have retired and sold the restaurant. I was told it will become a Ukrainian Grocery store. Ai had been a staple here for over 30 yrs. They will be missed.

Excellent Japanese restaurant. Very small 5 tables so call ahead reservations may be necessary. Food is well prepared and delicious. Sushi in addition to standard menu items like Udon noodles and Tempura shrimp. Wine and Beer is available

The best Japanese curry, takoyaki, and gyoza I've had outside of Japan, absolutely delicious! More authentic than most Japanese restaurants in PC.

Has so much potential, only to be disappointed. Server wasn't happy, very much short and concise. Food was very subpar, fried rice tasted a day old, beef was ok. Chicken was not good, sauce tasted watered down. Try on your own. Asked for a refund.

I really can't believe I hadn't visited AI before and am so glad I finally did. Mainly because it is on the other side of town and I usually go out closer to home though... The sushi was very good as well as the rest of the meal I had including soft shell crab (pictured)! It is a smaller, more intimate setting staffed by husband and wife owners, both very hard workers I observed. The portions were just enough and the cost for most menu items were VERY reasonable in today's inflated marketWheelchair accessibility: Ground floor
There's a reason this place is the oldest Japanese restaurant in Palm Coast and have outlasted newer much hyped about fancier Japanese and Sushi restaurants that are now gone. The reason? Simply because serve fresh and tasty Sushi and Sashimi at a reasonable price!

Very reasonable prices and really good food. Truly an unknown little gem in Palm Coast. Waitress was extremely busy, but after it slowed a bit she was much more personable. Lol.

Do NOT go here if you have a party of more then 2. My family and I were discriminated against. We were a party of 9 and they refused to seat or attempt to accommodate us. The lady was rude and I would NOT recommend going unless you're 2 people or less.
