Hammock Beach Pizza & Gelato

Hours are odd for a resort & not clear. Showed they closed at 10 on Google maps & got there at 9:40, they were closed & had different hours on door.
Ordered a pepperoni & Bianca pizza with a Cesar salad the following night, customer service was lacking & it came burnt (twice), little to no sauce on it & salad was nothing special. Seemed like a bagged salad thrown into a bowl. Wouldn’t order from them again, if you’re staying here for vaca like us, do yourself a favor & go get ice cream/pizza out. ??

Have been gluten free for 10 years, and love pizza. This is hands down the worst gluten free crust I’ve ever had. I don’t think the chef has actually tasted it. It seems the problem is they’re taking their thick crust recipe and trying to make it with GF flour.. it just doesn’t work, it’s an inedible dense doughy brick.

We were very disappointed with our stay at this hotel. We called several times to make changes to the reservation and we never heard back from the front desk. Upon arrival, we had to walk through the middle of a meeting to get to our room. There was also “ring cameras” outside a personal room saying we were being recorded every time we walked by. The hotel was very outdated and dirty in areas. When arriving to our room, the balcony door was left unlocked and open. We would not recommend this hotel to future guests.

Extremely poor check in and customer service experience. For the price and quality of the resort I would not recommend.

We loved our experience here. Pizza is HUGE for the price. Everything tasted great and the staff were really friendly. Their gelato is also great. Overall very convenient especially since it's right by the pool.

Kid-friendliness: The gelato and the candy were a great plus for the kiddos

It was delicious! Definitely the best pizza I’ve had. Definitely recommend the margarita. Would come back. Everyone in the family loved it! It was very good for the not-so-good reviews.

After previously seeing mediocre reviews, we were pleasantly surprised by how delicious the pizza was. Hot and made fresh with great flavor and ingredients. We ordered a small pepperoni, large margarita, and a large half Roman supreme and half rucola. Everyone was pleased and thought it was one of the best pizzas they’ve had, if not the best! Would definitely recommend.

The gelato was good BUT the candy (expensive) is completely stale. Do not buy the candy!!!! I’m sure the owner, supervisor already know the candy is stale because he/she know when he/she purchased it. I’m praying nothing was bad when making the gelato. ???? THE CANDY IS STALE and that’s very disgusting and irresponsible to sell to your customers.

Pizza is excellent, hand tossed, cooked perfectly, with great toppings. Ice cream has many selections and toppings. Great choice for sure.
