The pizza boys made a surprise visit to La Pizza Nostra in the spring of 2023. The local pizza joint was hopping with take out orders left and right. We settled in with our standard order of a plain pizza as the standard. The result was pretty good but not outstanding. The pizza chef joined us and explained that the dough and crust was complicated based on environmental conditions. We moved on tho the chefs recco of the meatballs pizza and it was outstanding ? This pizzeria is a dependable and has knowledgeable dough chef. You can get a really good pie from this pizza oven?

Amazing grandma pizza...I did half w sausage...Born and raised in Trenton NJ. Pizza is everything. It is the real deal. A must stop!!!...my go to weekly meal. BTW...My wife who is not a fan of pizza....Simply said this grandma pizza is so Delicious. Thank you!

The young lady working the registered to me and said she was 50 years old. There's no way cuz she looks younger than me (33) and AMAZING!Pizza is great, service is great, Kelly is the man. What else can I say.

Edit to respond: it was not half eaten, it was cut once and my mom couldn’t chew it because it was so hard from being over cooked (the edges were black), we’ve had plenty of calzones and never had a place had to cook it to where it’s hard and black, so how about you don’t lie on a review response to try to make yourself look better!Just left this place and calzone was burnt, couldn’t eat it. Asked if I was getting a refund and she said “absolutely not, it was perfectly good calzone”.. excuse me!? If a customer is unhappy with your food you give a refund. Then I asked if they threw it out and she said of course I can’t serve that to someone else. I’m sorry then you should have told us you can’t give a refund and asked if we wanted to keep it or throw it out. It’s really a shame cuz we went there all the time and it’s the only place I can get spinach pinwheels. I guess I’ll have to live without themSo beware if you go there and something isn’t cooked right they won’t give you a refundAlso the music on your tv is way too loud!

This is the BEST PIZZA in the area! Staff is super friendly and helpful, Maria and Joey are wonderful. You must try the Grandma Pizza, it’s absolutely delicious! Stop by if you are in town, you wont be disappointed.
Like to try new places so finally got to this one. I ordered the Sausage and Ziti and the Meatballs with Ziti. Also, an order of garlic knots because I’m a bread lover.The flavor of the meat was really good. The bread was on point - not undercooked inside, not tough - just right.Stromboli is good! Cooked well. Size is right. It isn’t stuffed fat but it’s a good length. Taste was great. Sauce was good!Since I as not disappointed I will try again at a later date and give the pizza a shot. I’m not a huge fan of pizza so always start with something different.Ordered delivery and it arrived sooner than expected on a Monday evening.

The hype of Grandma's Pizza held up!!! We ordered Grandma's Pizza and added pepperoni, mushrooms, and black olives!! We ate at the restaurant and the owners were awesome and came by to chat with us!! If we were locals, this would be our pizza spot!!!
