Have been here before and been disappointed with meal but being a member of the Club I was excited about the new “football” menu so I figured we would give it another try. Chicken Nachos were inedible, basically nachos, jar queso, a tiny bit of chicken , handful of jalapenos and some slivers of red peppers. How can you fail at nachos??? Service was great but restaurant was pretty empty. May return only for drinks will not order food again.

The past three times we’ve tried to eat here the food was literally inedible. How do you screw up nachos? The menu is very limited. We are members but we’ll never go back to this restaurant.

We were very disappointed with our stay at this hotel. We called several times to make changes to the reservation and we never heard back from the front desk. Upon arrival, we had to walk through the middle of a meeting to get to our room. There was also “ring cameras” outside a personal room saying we were being recorded every time we walked by. The hotel was very outdated and dirty in areas. When arriving to our room, the balcony door was left unlocked and open. We would not recommend this hotel to future guests.
Extremely poor check in and customer service experience. For the price and quality of the resort I would not recommend.
The waiting staff were excellent, even if it was packed. The fries were AMAZING 10/10 would recommend. The TVs were huge and they were streaming things from fantasy football to poker. Overall a great place. I went here two nights in a row because it was so good. They also have a pool table and a full arcade in the back.

Over an hour for appetizers. Didn't put in the entrees until the appetizers were out. Not a lot of communication. Everyone seemed flustered and confused.
Order the calzone and regretted it ,absolutely horrible like it was freezer food thrown in the

I booked our trip to Hammock Beach before reading the reviews here. After I read them, I had a total panic attack. I wanted to cancel our vacation. DO NOT BELIEVE EVERYTHING YOU READ. This place is paradise, I promise you. I have not one complaint. We can't wait to go back. I lost track of how many pools they have. There’s a twisty water slide, a lazy river, free bikes, enormous indoor swimming pool, kids camp, splash pads, miniature golf, an arcade… a gorgeous sandy beach where we spent hours shelling. Oh!! The fitness center is 10/10 - bring your spin shoes bc they have Peloton bikes (i will pack mine next time.)The pool food is delish and The staff could not have been nicer. Everyone we talked to kept commenting on how nice the staff is here. We met so amazing families- many from new england. I recommend booking an ocean view condo if you can- we did a 3 bed/3 bath, but I’m sure a 2 bed would’ve been perfect. Im in our unit right now doing laundry, so I won’t have to deal with it when we get home. Omg heaven. We also had a kitchen w dishwasher. Housekeeping every freaking day. This is a hidden gem. Def rent a car because it’s located more than a hour from Jacksonville, which is the closest major airport.
Beach chairs and umbrellas are $15 per person, per day! With my family of 5 that is crazy expensive. I have never stayed at a beach resort where you can't use any chair/lunge/umbrella on the beach without paying. The chairs by the pool didn't cost extra. We have stayed here many times in the past, this is a new money-making addition. Not cool when paying hundreds per night to stay here. Also, there was an ice bucket in our room, and tried to find the ice machine, which I never did. The front desk told me there are no ice machines and offered to bring up some ice. The ice never came.
Had 24 guys down for a golf trip and could not have been happier with all that Hammock had to offer. The focus on customer service and attention to detail was very much appreciated. The staff at the many restaurants was great and the choices were numerous. The golf coordinators Louis and Dan are first class professionals and made sure everything went like clockwork. The courses were in excellent shape and very different which was fun. Above and beyond, and we will be back.

Tried multiple various items on the menu during my stay at Hammock Resort and they were all phenomenal from the burgers, nachos, to the Mac and cheese. 10/10 recommend.
The golf courses are great. However, the food was terrible (in one case bad shrimp…the server’s response “Ohhhh I guess I’ll have to tell someone…”) and in several cases the food service was even worse. The staff at the Sushi Bar simply lied out right about my reservation. Management response…ohhhh wait they haven’t bothered!
I recently was a guest of one of our business partners, D&H, at the Hammocks. I rarely write reviews, but was so impressed with my experience I felt compelled to do so. The food, the staff, the venue, the rooms, the golf course were all 5 Star. I was most impressed with the team at the Hammocks. The first night at the resort we had a reception dinner on the beach which was stunning. I most importantly want to thank Grace, from Santiago Chile, who was so warm and welcoming. Her hospitality set the stage for what was a memorable experience. The Hammocks and its guests are fortunate Grace is on the team! Michael
Our kids had a great time but there were some health concerns as well as some information that we were not aware of such as when you book through their site make sure you’re actually staying on resort property. It is best to call directly versus booking online for this clarity. The condo we stayed at was spacious and did have a washer and dryer which is always nice. We noticed a few things. 1) The floor felt dirty and when we found a vacuum we noticed that it was either skipped or completely missed when the cleaning crew last cleaned. 2) Mold was found on the bedskirt when we were looking for kids toys underneath the bed. It appeared that it has been there for a while. When we contacted the staff they never apologized but simply stated, “thanks for letting us know.” 3) The dryer link basket was missed and was not emptied out and we even vacuumed the link basket as it was clogged and didn’t want it to be a fire hazard. 4) We booked a condo off site and not on property which we didn’t know until we checked in. When booking through their site when you enter in the number of guests you are given room options but never stated clearly that you’d be staying off property which I didn’t even think would be an option. 5) The dining staff did not seemed prepared for spring break traffic. We had to ask for a server and our server apologized for the delays and seemed very overwhelmed. The hostess did ask for help up front but no one was able to help her seat people. Overall the kids enjoyed their stay but we wouldn’t recommend staying here until they make some house cleaning updates. We overheard a few families requesting new rooms for mold and smell issues in their rooms. Make sure to also book kids club in advance if you plan to use the service. We won’t be returning.
The staff here is really trying hard to make your stay the best it can be. Some units are better than others depending on the owner. The grounds were a 4/5, beach and pool areas very nice. They do charge an additional fee for beach chairs & umbrellas. Nice dog walk area. The Atlantic Grille was the best restaurant and the women working in the sundries store were super nice! The Ocean Golf Course was very expensive $259 per person, the conservatory $139 per person and very challenging. This resort needs some updating but has the potential to be a 5 star resort destination. Room 617 was a nice room.
