My friend and I were coming up the interstate, looking for some good food and happened upon this gem. We got the garlic and shrimp appetizer and two salmon salads. They bring fresh bread to your table. Everything was amazing! It was a little expensive, with the two soft drinks totaling $9 alone, and the total bill without tip was $80. However, we would definitely eat here again if passing through because everything was cooked to perfection.

This is the real deal. We visited on Sunday afternoon. The caldo verde was authentic, fresh and delicious. The bbq chicken and ribs were amazing. We ended it with an espresso and delicious pastel de natas. The menu has so much to offer and the service was top notch. Only regret I have is not getting the waiter’s name to give him the credit he deserves. We will be back soon!

So great to see this place thriving again under new ownership. We drive an hour to eat here and the previous owners were ruining it. The food is great again and new servers with better attitudes are a great improvement. The new owners are also very nice people and very relatable. Chicken and Ribs are the best they’ve ever been and were so glad to continue to patron this great place.
Place has good food, however as we walked up we were worried if we were at the right place as there were about 10 rough looking folks outside smoking and drinking beer (which is fine but not if your bringing in an 8 and 10 yr old.) We were worried we were walking into a “bar” not a restaurant. Walked in and was greeted and the service ended up being phenomenal good. Food was very good priced and good. I would go back but my first reaction was not so good.

Horrible place, the food is expensive and not worth paying that price, plus they give you small portions, the owner is rude and disrespectful, they treat her employees badly. I would not go to this place again, I do not recommend it. Its excellent employees but the owner is a horrible person. These people treat some well for convenience and give others misery, definitely don't go, there is another Portuguese restaurant nearby with better SERVICE!
