Papa Johns Pizza

as I walked into the store the manager there yelled at me when I asked for my order and she then went back to her tablet. the kid behind the oven flipped my pizza and dropped it on the floor and then put it in the box!! never in my life have I seen such disgusting practices. will never be going to another papa johns in my life.

Never answers the phone. I literally stayed on hold for 21 minutes before hanging up and calling back several times. They actually hung up on me and never did take my call.
Our pizza was cooked an hour early and sat there. We received it barely warm from the heat lamps.

There was so much raw dough and so little toppings. I asked for crispy well done, it was a pie of gooey dough! Gross

Ordered directly thru your web site. Charged $5.50 for delivery, then 15% tip ($3.00 on a $20 order) for a total of $8.50 in delivery & tips on a $20 order. They then send me a message that the order will be delivered thru Doordash. Wow! Thanks alot! I have Dashpass and could of gotten free delivery. Same order was $5.00 cheaper with delivery & tip then ordering directly thru Papa John's. Pretty underhand practice, maybe let the customer know that in advance so we could get free delivery.

Walked in last night to pick up an order just as the manager was finishing giving a pizza to two girls in front of me. As I walk up to the counter store manager walks away and says ill be with you in a couple minutes. She proceeds to turn on a tablet, and starts watching a show while making dough for pizzas. Left me standing there for 4 minutes until finally asking another employee to see what i need ( since she never asked or checked) the order i was picking up was ready the entire time just sitting on the rack going cold. If this was an isolated incident I wouldn't even bother writing a review but unfortunately it is not.

Called at 11:20 when they were open for 40 mins for delivery 7 mins away to my house. They answered and took my order and told me around 45 minutes, not only until, an hour later did i not only realize my order had been cancelled, but i also didn’t get any kind of a courtesy call either. This is why everyone goes to dominoes now, thanks for making dominoes my number one.

Food wasn’t very impressive. Walking up to the door a delivery driver kicked the door open and almost hit me with it. At the counter there is what seemed like a relatively new employee labeling boxes for orders. The woman in the kitchen I assume was the manager in a grey shirt barking orders at everyone. Just seemed like a miserable place to work. The kid at the counter turned around and greeted me. He’s the reason for 5 star service. I said I was picking up an order two pies. One extra large one large gave my first name. He looked. Found the order. Asked to confirm last name. I did. All cordial and efficient. As he’s sliding my pies off the rack manager yells at him “ WHY ARE YOU HANDING OUT FOOD!!!!!” He froze for just a moment, eyes like deer in the headlights, but hesitantly gave me my order. Loud enough for the manager to hear I thanked him for “handing me my food” and left. Thinking I wished I had told this kid the company I worked for was hiring. I felt bad for him. Our pizza wasn’t very good and I put that on the manager. The vibe was toxic at this place and I just feel really bad for the kid up front.

I got a call from Kim the manager, apologizing for my experience and explained the context of her comment about handing out food. I missed the part about her wanting to be sure all items are being given to the customer. She was just trying to be thorough. I get it. I’ve worked for service and I know how it gets on a Friday afternoon. Crazy busy. She offered to make it right for us and I appreciate her reaching out. Most people would disregard a not so great review and she’s proactive, trying to improve customer experience. I respect that. I’ll chock this up to everyone not having the best day, myself included. I could have been more understanding. Upgrading my review another star and gonna try papa John’s again in the future.

Vince was amazing. It was a busy night and he seemed to be the only one working personally put my pizza in the oven while 2 other guys were just standing around talking. He needs a raise was kind and calm dispute the chaos.

Order was scheduled to be delivered between 7:55-8:05. Actual delivery time was around 8:51. Called the restaurant to inquire about the length of time it was taking for the delivery, offered a half-assed apology and nothing more. Contactless delivery was selected, which means the delivery is placed on the bag the pizza should have been delivered in, doorbell is rang, deliverer stands back until you get your items… Nope! Pizza was left on the mat at the door, no bell rung. Pizza was cold and separated. No worries, Papa Johns… I’ll take my business elsewhere!!!
