Did not have a great experience here tonight but will give it another chance. Think our server had an off night so I’m not going to hold a restaurant accountable for it yet but when you pay $150 for a date night there should be a higher standard. Also if the server drops a bottle of olive oil that’s shatters and sprays all over a customer’s pants and shoes maybe provide them with something to clean up with instead of just suggesting to be careful when you leave
We visited this restaurant on our travels, the staff is great and very friendly. I am Portuguese and I can say this is not 100% Portuguese cuisine. We do not serve pasta, marinara sauce, bruschetta or masala dishes to name a few. There was no pão de milho, they give you olives, no Portuguese cheese. The restaurant does not serve rotisserie chicken or mini potatoes and there is no piri piri sauce dishes. Overall the food is good, if you looking for a taste of fish dishes but not...
The server was great. The food taste was ok but nothing to write home about. Prices are a bit steep. The true letdown was the risotto. It was more like an overcooked rice. Nothing creamy or tasty about it. I'm not sure if that is the Portuguese style, but it did not look like the pictures they have on their website. Overall, it was not worth the close to $300 that I paid.
