Well I loved it when it was SAKURA, now it's not even worth the time order 3 hibatchi. The Misu soup was tasteless and had no pork, tofu. The ginger dressing was water down and little taste. The fried rice was dry, no buttery taste or any taste be a matter of fact. Veggies were some what burned and well I can go on and on. Hopefully I will find a new Hibatchi Rest. some where in Palm Coast..

Always a good deal and friendly staff. I usually get the 2 for $40 and it's always amazing. They also have sushi specials which are very reasonable for a family or special occasion of friends. I would highly recommend this place!

Let me just say I had one of the best personal experience in my life when I was sitting at the sushi bar. I asked my server aj what his favorite roll to prepare was, this man grined ear to ear and said one sec let me make you a little sample of it to see if you like it. He did just that and handed me a nice piece of smoked salmon on rice. Omg it was the best thing I had tasted in a long time. I promptly said please go ahead and make this into the roll. About a minute later he had prepared the most incredible roll I've ever eaten, it was smokey and sweet yet savory as all can be with a lovely presentation to. 10/10 five star 100% will be back for both more service from aj and to try his incredible aj roll again. Oh and aj if you're seeing this man I tell you what I'm highly impressed by your skills and you're creative freedom??

Poor quality food, portions are small. Soup was cold and salad was soggy. Management is unprofessional and they don't care about customer satisfaction. I was extremely disappointed. Do yourself a favor, if you want a nice hibachi dinner go elsewhere.

Business is closed - got renovation but no notice whatsoever!!! Even voicemail message does not indicate it was closed! You're losing future customers!

Tried their HiBACHI FiLET MIGNON , and was very disappointed, small servings, and was not fresh. The previous owners did a better job, was very surprised to see they had left and sold to a franchise. Will look elsewhere in the future

Disappointing... we arrived at 7pm on a Tuesday and when we didn't have a reservations were told we'd have to wait 20 minutes for a table. Not a huge deal - but there were only 3 tables occupied. Admittedly, they have only recently taken over what was Sakura and did some minor renovating. The bench covering the former fountain in then lobby is decorated with couch cushions that are just gross... they need to be tossed and replaced with a solid surface that can be cleaned properly. When we were seated the plates were greasy and the menus were soaked... service was slow but he was trying. The sushi my son and I shared was pretty good the Crab Rangoon's my wife and daughter shared were okay. Soup was only lukewarm but the salad was good. Hibachi was good, the portions were sizable - but they forgot to serve my daughter noodles and then again with the vegetables. When I pointed it out, he scraped some together to giver her a small portion. I gave her some of mine - so she had more than enough - but there were only 7 people at the table (my 4 and another party of 2 adults and a child). Once is an oversight - but twice...really? Honestly, don't think I'll be back...
I Love the Sushi here! It's alittle over priced,, but it's Very Good! I especially liked the Unagi Roll! It was amazing and the brown sauce that was drizzled on it was also Amazing!!

We've dined there several times, but the best meal we've had there was when our Monthly Golf Group ate at the tables where a chef prepared and served the meal from a grill. The menu items we've tried have been okay at a minimum.

Tokyo Japanese Steak house replaced Sakura not to long ago. Tokyo repainted and redecorated some of the restaurant. The restaurant looks fantastic and clean with friendly staff and cooks. As for the food we started with some sushi before our hibachi. The spicy salmon and California rolls where tasty and fresh. The hot saki I ordered was very hot but delicious and would of definitely ordered a second round. The hibachi was fun, entertaining and delicious. We all ordered the chicken hibachi and noodles. The chef gave our table so much food that we were crawling away by the end of our meal. Definitely was a great experience and look forward to returning.

Hard review to write. We have always included Sakura on our list of Palm Coast restaurants to try, but they have changed hands and as of this date 6/3/21 they do not have it together. Menu has only a third of the original items and the sushi list was very limited. So they just opened back up and admittedly short on help but some easy things needed to be addressed. Restrooms were dirty, dishes on the table were greasy and had to be replaced twice. Glass partitions between hibachi tables were gross. OK, what's good, same old chefs tricks to delight the children, variety and portions of what he cooked was ok. They need some time to pull it together, but in the meantime I can't recommend you go there.
