Sylvain's Caribbean Restaurant

Dry oxtail and can barely bite into it. Basically inedible. Paid $62 not worth it! Idk what happened but I use to eat here and recommend people to this place before they switched locations. Very upset with the qualify of food ):

The best Caribbean food ever I don't know what to eat 1st OMG

This was nastiest nastiest toughest Jamaican food I have ever had in my entire life. The oxtails were tough with a lot of spices. I could eat the rice. The Mac and cheese was stiff elbow noodles under burnt cheese. The ONLY food that was good was the plantains. I paid 33 dollars for this BS. Never ever again. Ever. Just nasty.

Food was not bad, just did not taste much like Jamacan food.

Really sweet people. The guy who gave me my food packed me some extra oxtail, it was so spicy and juicy. The mac and cheese was perfect and so were the plantains. And i usually don’t eat cabbage but it was amazing.

Very nasty!!! Omg this restaurant is so nasty !! The food is horrible I vomit . The jerk chicken has no taste and they are not friendly! Soup so terrible it taste like your vomit The list goes on

This is the worst restaurant ever.The food is nasty they cannot cook at all! I bought soup it look like dog food. I would never go back there I waste my money..This place is the worst food I ever taste .They lied about their jerk chicken. They told me it was jerk on the grill It was stewed not jerk and have no taste..I will never go back

I recently visited Sylvain’s Carribean Restaurant and unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. I hade a takeout order of the Roti; when I got home the meal I ordered was so overly salty that it was inedible. The curry sauce was black and not the normal curry color. I brought this to the attention of the staff, (young lady taking the orders and answering the phones) and while they initially seemed willing to make things right by offering a replacement meal on a future visit, the resolution fell short.They did NOT honor their word.
When I later called (the next day and spoke with the same person) to redeem the promised replacement meal. The person acknowledged me and remembered the situation from the previous night. I was informed that the specific dish I had ordered before was not available. I asked if they could substitute it with something else from the menu, but they flatly refused.
This left me feeling not only dissatisfied but also undervalued as a customer. A good restaurant should prioritize making things right for their patrons, especially when they’ve already acknowledged the issue. Unfortunately, this was not the case here at Sylvain’s. They are not true to their word.
Between the overly salty food and the lack of flexibility in resolving the issue, I cannot recommend Sylvain’s Carribean Restaurant. There are plenty of other establishments in Palm Coast that value their customers, honor their word and deliver both quality food and service.
They have lost my business!

Great food, always enjoy their lunch and dinner plates, of course they're plantains are top-notch as well, and the staff is friendly and helpful.
