YUM‼ The food was amazing! We got the fish dip for an app and it was so good! Had a great smoked flavor and they gave you an abundance of items to dip with. My hubby got the jumbo shrimp bucket tossed in the old bay seasoning and raved about them! They were cooked perfectly, very white and juicy. I was not supper hungry so I got the coconut shrimp appetizer for my meal and they may have been the best coconut shrimp I've had and the dipping sauce it came with was the perfect "sweet heat" flavor. My only negatives were that we received a strawberry daiquiri and a piña colada (we had just left the beach so we wanted to keep the vibe going), but they were not good at all and I honestly don't think there was much, if any, alcohol in them. Also, one of the bartenders was awful! She literally cut me off mid sentence, while trying to order a cider, to speak to two guys (who seemed to be regulars) and then never came back??? Thankfully that was towards the end of our meal because it really ticked me off. However, besides that the food was amazing and the other bartender was very helpful!!

Barfly grill and pub in Palm harbor I stopped in there probably around 6:00 p.m. the quesadillas I ordered with chicken was very fresh and good. The service was friendly and fast. Looking forward to getting some kind of seafood there in the near future.

What happened to Barfly? I took friends from out of town to eat and watch the music. they've turned the patio into a no-mans zone with no tables and zero service. they've lined up the chairs so there's no way to sit and chat with your friends. if you want drinks you have to shlep to the bar, order and pay and tote them back. forget about eating food out of your lap. We felt unwanted and unwelcome. What a disappointment! We left, went next door to Thirsty's. They actually had tables and chairs out by the band, service AND FOOD! lol I'll be back when Barfly sorts out that cluster@$)& on the patio.

This place is like my all-time favorite.... Love the lobster rolls and tacos! I bring all my company to the place to eat ... The margaritas are very good also...

One of my favorite places and back again I came, but a bit disappointed. Had my usual lobster bisque. It was significantly under seasoned and bland. Fortunately, a little salt, pepper, and hot sauce did the trick to save it. Tina poke was excellent, though quite small. The clam chowder had no clam flavor and was chock full of potatoes, but little, if any at all, clams. Drunken shrimp was excellent and a good value. So overall a bit hit and miss.

Bar Fly always has amazing food and service! Gabby is our favorite server. We also love it when Jesse Ray Stout plays. He is so talented. We appreciate that Bar Fly doesn't sensor him and allows the right to free speech! We are local and frequent Bar Fly but usually when Jesse is playing.

Atmosphere - Very Good. I love tiki type bar/restaurants and this is place has a great atmosphere. It is not a large place and it is very casual. There is a bar that seats about a dozen people and around a dozen four tops, all covered, open air seating. Service - Excellent! Our server was very pleasant and attentive. Food - Just OK. I was there for lunch and I ordered a chicken quesadilla. It was barely warm. The portion size was decent. The tortillas was dry and a little hard. The cheese was congealed and there was not an abundance of chicken. Overall Value - Average. Given the prices and less than quality meal, I would be inclined to dine elsewhere

This area is so cute and we want to try the different restaurants. I loved the ambiance of this place upon pulling in the parking lot. It is quirky and Floridian. There are high and low top tables as well as a nice bar. There is a little gift shop to the side. Our server was very friendly and quick to bring our drink order. They have a large variety of beer on tap, but I was boring and got my same old Yuengling. The menu is extensive, with many taco options as well as lobster options. I settled on Sweet Habanero Chicken Nachos. They arrived quickly, but I was disappointed. The order is large, but they kept it under the broiler too long so the cheese and chicken were all dried out. The chips on top had all their edges burnt. It was a shame because the habanero salsa was good. It's also disappointing that they give you a mountain of chips, but the toppings are only on the top so all the chips below are dry. I really liked the atmosphere here, but the food wouldn't draw me back.

Wow, order the lobster grilled cheese and lobster bisque! What an amazing sandwich! I was visiting my sister in Palm Harbor and we hit Barfly on the way to the airport for my flight home. She told me about the Lobster Grilled Cheese sandwich and I said "yes please!" Well worth any wait and even worth a return flight!

We were a little concerned as we pulled up to park on Tuesday night, the entire area was packed. We lucked out and someone was pulling out just as we arrived and we got their parking space. With Bar Fly on once corner and Fireside Pizza and Smugglers Island Pub on the others it is a happening spot. We made our way to the hostess at Bar Fly and lucked out with a table that was being cleared near the bar. The hostess was friendly and passed us off to a wonderful waitress that took good care of us. We let her know we were first timers and even though the place was packed she took the time to review the high points on the menu. We ordered drinks and they arrived cold and well made in short order. We took a few of her suggestions and ordered Bahamian Conch Fritters, Lobster Nibbler, and an order of Mahi Tacos to share. With how busy it was we expected to wait but the kitchen was definitely on their game and we didn't wait long. The Conch Fritters and Lobster Nibbler showed up first. We love Conch Fritters but unless they have enough Conch in them all they end up being is expensive hush puppies. This was not the case with the Bahamian Conch Fritters from Bar Fly. Filled with Conch in every bit and cooked to perfection, they were moist with great flavor and chew. The Lobster Nibbler was great big pieces of lobster claw meat, melted butter, and toasted baguette rounds. The meat was warm and sweet, the baguette perfectly toasted and, well, butter! It was simply but outstanding. Finally, we got the Bar Fly Mahi Tacos. We were expecting something similar to street tacos but were surprised by the size. They were big with lots of meat and fresh, crunchy vegetables. The table had your choice of three different hot sauces to match your taste. We were very full when we finished two "appetizers" and one entrée between the two of us. Enjoy!

However We hosted a moms meet up event and our first point to meet was at bar fly , we tried to call in advance to make sure there was room for 30 of us and no one answered for hours , Finally when someone did they said first come first serve . Then upon arrival we told them we needed to be able to accommodate 30 people they didn't seem so thrilled and complained that they would not be able to cook all of our food at once we agreed because not everyone was eating . They just gave us a bad vibe after they didn't seem so thrilled to accommodate our large group . You would think in these times you would want to have that many customers ... our waitress was amazing , but she was cut from her shift early and we were rushed out of there which was a little frustrating as 30 paying customers !
