The staff member said it best: New York prices for this New York bakery. Sorry but $8 for a donut? I'll pass.

Cute place located right next to & kind of inside a restaurant. Great place to get a dessert after dinner or for parties. There’s so many beautiful deserts to choose from. My husband and I got cookies our first time there. Chocolate chip & a Carmel. Highly recommend the Carmel cookie. I’ll definitely be going back! The staff was friendly, the place was clean, variety of dessert options and plenty of parking during the week days.

I've attempted to purchase items here three times only being successful once. The cakes and pastries are decent by the service is abominable. I was the only person at the bakery and the two people behind the counter were more interested in heat was going on I believe in the register or their personal business than helping a customer. I literally stood there for ten minutes why I don't know and walked out the door. I decided to try again this time with two people behind the counter and one customer beside myself in the store. I just don't get it. I waited while the person in front of me was being taken care of but there was another person working and staring into space. There are plenty of places to buy pastries who are glad to serve me and happy to take my money. I guess Brooklyn bakery isn't one of them. I did get to taste a few of their items since a friend had premixed and waited there one day but went through a similar experience. They're nothing to rave about. Sweet Caroline's is a much better experience and very good pastries. Being from New York I would expect more from a place like this.

I don’t know if it was the day of the week, or if it was just rotten luck, but my husband and I went to Brooklyn bakery to try some pastries. He chose based on the high reviews, and so we bought a cookie, and Napoleon pastry, and an Italian cream cake, all for just under $30. The price alone was a bit shocking, but when we actually ate the desserts, it was instant regret. The Italian cream cake was thrown away after two bites based on no flavor. We regretfully finished the cookie and Napoleon only because we had spent so much money on the damn desserts. The cookie was dry and stale with the icing tasting like fake sugar. The Napoleon had flavorless, heavy whipped cream that left our stomachs unsettled within 20 minutes. I went to bed with a migraine, and he went to bed with an upset stomach. Needless to say we won’t be trying any more desserts from this bakery ever again. It’s very unfortunate because the staff there was very kind when helping us select what we thought would be enjoyable desserts. For what we paid in both price and comfort, I regret to say that I would not recommend Brooklyn bakery as a place to spend $30 on desserts.

I had the Chicken Salad sandwich. It was fine, nothing special. But the server was excellent! He was very attentive, never leaving you waiting for anything. A+ for service. However, on the way out I got some items from the bakery. I haven’t bought anything from the bakery in a long time because everything I bought there before was stale. A friend said their eclairs were really good. I bought two. Both were extremely stale!!! And I mean extremely !!!! I could barely bite through them. Do yourself a favor…. eat at the restaurant. Do not waste your money or time getting items from the bakery. That is unless you’re into stale food.

We have eaten at Lucky Dill for many years and it’s not the same place. Reduced menu offerings, huge price increase on beverages, no longer providing rolls. My Tarpon Springs Greek Salad didn’t have the nice lettuce and tomato it used to have. Service was so bad we had to ask others for help 3 times. You can really tell the new owner isn’t providing the quality food of the past.

I only gave 1 star because the waitress was good. Whoever bought this place doesn't have a clue. They think that giving someone boar's head roast beef with a teaspoon of sauce is worth 17.99 My husband had the turkey and the same thing the turkey tasted like premade store bought turkey again too expensive. Oh yeah MAKE SURE YOUNTELL YOIR CUSTOMERS ABOUT THE UPCHARGE FOR USING ANY CARDS. WHAT A SHAME AND THE SNOW BIRDS NEED TO NOW HOW THIS PLACE HAS GONE DOWNHILL

Ordered thru door dash but the whole food experience is not the same dice new owner. We loved it here now nope! We ordered the Sunday dinner. Turkey portion dinky. Green beans use to be almond now garlic, Sweet potatoes used to be candied now plain lil pieces Both cakes dry. I tried to call and complain and the Manager women was extremely rude. We have brought our family of 11 there for birthdays and holidays no more they have lost us forever.
