So tonight I brought my son to this location for some ice cream and when we got there the women taking our order was VERY RUDE and when I pulled up to the window she had no uniform and was dressed like she just left the gym. Had headphones hanging from her ears and wasn’t even paying attention to me. I ordered ice cream and apple pies. When I get home I put my children to bed and I took out my pies and I was astounded by what I saw the pies were completely burnt and the inside was so brown it was almost black I was absolutely disgusted. My Bestfriend used to be a manager at that location and things were always done right. But tonight made me realize I will NEVER EVER go back to that location.

I haven't eaten fast food in 5 months. Decided to go to Checker's tonight. I have not eaten checkers in years. I ordered a mother cruncher combo. The price on the menu said $6.29. When I paid it was $8.02. If I was GOING to be charged for changing my soda to a shake I should have been TOLD. I asked "can I substitute a shake for the soda" and was told yes. This is infuriating to no end :(

I have not been to checkers in a long time and was reminded today why. Starts with the inpatient and unfriendly service at the speaker and carries through to the disgusting food and nasty looks served at the window. If they said two words that would be over stating. Paid over three dollars for a chocolate shake that was warm and tasted like a can of chocolate syrup that was generic and disgusting. Food was absolutely horrible I will never go back to checkers again.

I have had both good and bad experiences here but lately its been more bad. The milkshakes in the last two times Ive been here have had a bitter old grease/possibly chemical aftertaste that takes almost a week to get out of your mouth no matter how much brushing and gargling Ive done. Even went back the first time to get a remake and still the same thing. The last time I went, which was Sept 3rd. the red headed girl with no hair net and her hair all over the place, looking so unkempt in her street jacket, no uniform, was so rude when taking the order over the intercom! I have seen very friendly and helpful people working here in the past, and I understand that covid has made some of those people stay out of work. But some of the workers there now, you can tell they're just there for the paycheck and don't really care about selling good food or giving good service. I used to love coming for the milkshakes and the ice cream cones alone, but now I have to take my business to Holiday or Safety Harbor because I don't want to end up in the hospital with whatever is making the shakes here taste bitter.

So it says they are open until 3am but I pulled up at 10:20pm and it was closed and see employees leaving? I guess the employees now make the hours and the company doesn't! I'll spend my money elsewhere.

Waited about 20 mins to get order there was as worker outside talking to us because gecsaud he was tired of running food and needed little break so he was talking to us do that it looked like he was working

If i could give a 10/5 I would!! This crew and location is amazing!! They are always kind and consistent no matter what the time day!! It can't be easy working in an exclusive drive thru but the staff there I feel is good natured and well hired.

Can you guys PLEASE update your hours on Google? Ive made multiple attempts at stopping here (its out of my way to go to) and they have been closed the last few times I've gone... AFTER I checked the hours online to be sure they were still open. Great food.. always great service.... but please UPDATE THE HOURS.
place looks like a pig style from the drive thru. The chicken sandwich was awful, not drained, hot grease in the wrapper. My first and LAST visit here. Disgusting. Board of Health needs to visit.

Horrible experience, I love checkers. We come from out of state and always stop, this location is horrible. Messed up order twice and was rude about it. I would gladly drive to the next nearest location.

Would give 0 stars if I could. Employees were so rude and disrespectful mumbled we don't have time for them pull around and try again forgot something in my order so I had to pay twice for it since they wouldn't give me my food forgot other food from my friends order and when we went back to the window they knew what was forgotten and made us wait for it even tho we were sitting in our car eating messed up on our food and got pissed that they had to fix it and food just tasted nasty and uncooked would NOTTTT go there again other rude things happen as well but I just don't have the energy to explain just don't eat here listen to the other reviews
