I went to Dieci's last night, Sat. March 5, around 6 p.m. and it was closed. Are they out of business?

Very disappointing, the bread came out in small ripped pieces, not hot or toasted, like it was leftovers. The waiter kept pushing the wine special, but I wanted the Chianti which they were out of. So, the special montepulciano was not great and had plenty of sediment. It wasn't busy but it took a while to get served. Our waitress wasn't very attentive and kept apologizing for it. Our entrees came out at least 10 minutes apart (2 ppl), had to bring it back to reheat. Then waited again for silverware. The veal saltimbocca was good but small. The side roasted red peppers weren't roasted, just whole and warmed and there was an upcharge. Music was good and if you like to dance. Overall, not going back.

This was my 3rd attempt at trying this restaurant, to be honest it was take out only-and I ordered at the bar. 1st time ordered for the family and the food was ice cold. I live less than 10 minutes away and had to reheat after waiting for it for 45 minutes. 2nd time I ordered I didn't receive an entire entry, only got 1 slice of bread with 4 entrees. 3rd and final time was this Saturday, I asked the Barmaid if she could please check the order before I leave, when the owner happened to ask why, I said because the last time I was short an entree, he said " Well I guess you came back for my good food" No Sir, I won't be back. This time the food was mediocre at best. All 3 times my bill was over $75.00..DO NOT RECOMMEND

Friendly staff who treats you like family. Delicious ? food with an authentic Italian atmosphere. Can't say enough of this restaurant. I heard they'll teach you Italian on Tuesday evenings. So if you're craving good Italian food stop by, you won't be disappointed. Get your Italian on at Dieci Italian Ristorante Munja ?

The place is the absolute best there is when it comes to Italian food. The place has a great environment, the owners all the way down to the severs are amazing people. The food came out on time as advertised if not better then what we expected. Everything from appetizers, the main course to the deserts were phenomenal. It helps that they make their own bread and deserts themselves. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for great food, great service and an overall nice comfortable environment. We will be going back as much As possible

I recently moved here from New York and was concerned I’d not be able to find food or places that were similar to home, especially Italian food. I must say not only was the ambience comforting and very reminiscent of an Italian restaurant in New York but the food and the service were excellent. I can’t say enough about how nice it was to enjoy a meal that made me feel like I’m at a home away from my home. Everything from the appetizers, the entrees and the desserts was fantastic. I can’t say enough about how amazing my experience was here. For anyone who is from New York and those who aren’t but are just looking for a great meal at a great restaurant I highly recommend Dieci. I will definitely be returning regularly.

Overpriced and not good. $100 for dinner for one person and a glass of garbage wine. No thanks

Do not recommend spending your money here on what is always very bland Italian cuisine. The interior decorating of restaurant far exceeds their food quality!

I gave 1 star because zero is not an option. Checked website for food near me. Found this place. Thought I'd try it. Found Ravioli for $13 as the first pic from their website menu shows. Placed a to go order. When I picked it up the price paid was $19 and the portion sooo small as seen in pic two. She said they threw in some bread, lol! What a joke! If I wasn't 30 mins from this place I'd go back and throw it on their window just for the rip off!

Let me start by saying we have eaten here a few times in the past and the food was good. Very surprised to see a total of 19 people having dinner which included our table of 12 between the hours of 5:30-8pm. Our group all had different entrees. Some of the dinners came out Luke warm and other cold and had to be sent back to heat up. Portions are very small. The owner or manger came out to question why we thought the dinners that were sent back were cold. He claimed he saw the food leave the kitchen and he had a slight attitude that dinners were sent back for reheating. The attitude was not met well with our party but we chose to not engage in any further discussion about the temperature of the food. The food was reheated to our satisfaction but it should not have occurred. $18 is a little steep for a very small super thin piece of chicken cutlet that sits in the middle of the plate such as Marsala, picatta & fracais. It does come with a side of pasta with the same sauce that is on the chicken. $7 is also steep for a small cannoli with no flavor and hardly any cannoli ricotta filling. They do ha be entertainment on some nights and in the past they had Bobby Palermo performing which was wonderful! Heard he won't be singing there anymore. Also another performers supposedly left due to poor management. When the checks arrived we all received the wrong checks and had to swap checks with others in our party. Being it's the holiday season and being an Italian restaurant we anticipated it being beautifully decorated which was disappointing to say the least. A few red bows on a wall just didn't make our friends Christmas get together festive. It was just eating in a big empty room. Seating was terrible as we were all seated tightly next to each other and the last 2 seats were wedged against a wall. Very uncomfortable seating. You were continuously hitting the person next to you when trying to eat. Bread basket was the most empty basket we have ever seen in a restaurant. Bread was not a hearty slice of bread but a few tiny pieces cut up. Never have ever seen that in an Italian restaurant before. Those pieces didn't even fill the basket. Just tiny half thin slice laying flat in the basket. You had to actually pick up the basket to look into it to see the tiny pieces on the bottom We were warmly greeted at the door when we arrived but neither our server or manager/ owner ever asked how we liked it other than to come over with an attitude about the cold food. Now why would people be asking to heat the food if it was already hot. It was actually cold... I dislike writing bad reviews as there always could be an off night but with only 19 dining in an establishment that's seats 150 people it shouldn't have happened. Would we go back, possibly as some of our party liked what they had even though it had to be reheated but all agreed it was pricey for the quantity of food served.

Dieci's is amazing!! One of my favorite places to go. The food is exceptional and the owners are wonderful and always make us feel special. We celebrated my sister's 50th birthday there and everyone loved it! The artichoke heart appetizer is one of my favorite things on the menu. The filet special was better than Bern's. The fried cheesecake dessert was incredible. We are going back again tonight!

11/9/21 My followers know I appreciate excellent Italian food and willing to pay for it. My wife and I are always searching for fine Italian cuisine which, on this side of Tampa Bay, is getting rarer each year. And Dieci was yet another DISAPPOINTMENT.AMBIANCE: (Lost in space) Originally, it was probably two stores converted into one with a center stage/dance floor surrounded by tables on either side. They have live music, dancing, even Italian lessons. And a sprawling bar with piano -- but few patrons (at the after-work 6:00 hour?). It appears to be more of an entertainment venue (probably cranks up later) than good Italian cuisine. Dance, drink, learn some Italian -- BUT DON'T EAT HERE.WAITRESS: (Appalling!) The waitress was terribly inexperienced. She spoke so low I had to ask her to speak up (and I don't need hearing aids); she resorted to handing us the specials handwritten on a slip of paper. When asked for her recommendations she recited a few appetizers including "the meatball" and "the garlic knots"; a typical teenage response as if she were a server at McDonald's. What about the entrees?! She was like a high school freshman at her first job: inexperienced, introverted, and incompetent. Not her fault. She obviously needs plenty of training. She never asked us if we liked the food! For that matter neither did the hostess (probably the owner). And we told her it was our first time there. Guess she doesn't care about return business.FOOD: (Tough and cold!) My wife had a veal dish. I had the eggplant. Her veal dish was tough/chewy (I tasted it) and my eggplant was lukewarm to cold in spots. The portions, other than the pasta sides, are small. And the sauce on each dish was weak and tasteless.PRICES: (Cheap) That old adage comes to mind here: You get what you pay for.REVISIT: (Never) We were disappointed that yet another Italian restaurant fails to satisfy. For now we'll have to stick with that finer taste of Italy found only in Tampa and St. Pete.
