The service was great and the food was excellent. The chicken parm was amazing, as well as their salmon dish. I am looking forward to going back again soon and would highly recommend this restaurant.

Stopped in for a quick lunch .Was surprised to see Driftwood had changed names . The new name is Buchanan's landing . New name . New owners . So glad I stopped by . The service, atmosphere and food were right on the money . My steak was cooked too perfection . Came out promptly and got . One of the new owners came over to my table and introduced himself . A real gentleman . Just found my new favorite lunch spot . Can't wait to go for dinner . Five stars . Will definitely be frequenting this new place .

They changed owners. New name - Buchanan's Landing. Much better!!! Italian, homemade pasta, live entertainment, and attentive staff. They're making a lot of changes that seem to be for the better!!!!!

*New Owners Buchanans Landing*Hosted a company event here. They closed down the whole upstairs for us. Everyone in our party had a fantastic time. The restaurant is huge and beautiful. The food was Amazing. Joe and Sai were extremely accommodating and made sure everything went off with out any issues. We will be hosting our future events here and I will personally be coming back for Dinner soon. Luca the Chef and The Italian Cuisine did not disappoint! Highly Recommend.

Went to Driftwood with 2 other couples. First time there for any of us. The prices are on the high side, but don't mind that for high quality food. We were seated and immediately noticed it was a little cold (was cold that night for Florida), made more so by cold air blowing on us. We asked the server if she could request that the ac be turned down and she said she would, as she agreed it was really cold with the air vents blowing. We followed up with her later and she said she had asked, but that was the end of it and we just bundled up the best we could. Our drink orders were taken and everyones drink was served but mine, but that was quickly remedied when I mentioned it. Our appetizer and dinner orders were then taken. Our dinners came out fairly quickly, before we ever saw the appetizers. We mentioned this to our server while she was helping with the dinner delivery and she replied very honestly that she had forgotten to enter the app order. That was fine, and we just told her to forget about the appetizers. What was not fine was the quality of the dinners. Everything was average at best. Several people had ordered the grouper entree and when I asked them how it was, as I know they all love grouper, they each said it was just okay. The following week we all went out to an inexpensive, casual waterfront restaurant and they said the grouper there was much better. My friend ordered the ribeye and said it was not very good. He took half of it home with him and it is still in the refrigerator. The only person that really enjoyed their meal was me, I had the cajun filet mignon Alfredo. So, we gave the restaurant a shot and the atmosphere and food was just not quite there.I have read several reviews, and hope the owner does not push for a higher review based on the employees earnings being based on high reviews. Reviews are based on value received. I may try the restaurant again, with just my wife, and hope to be able to write a better review then.

Nice coastal themed restaurant with tons of potential. We were a group of 30 and really only a few other people in the entire place. Food was delicious and service was good. A bit pricey for scallops risotto at $32.99 but they were cooked perfectly and very flavorful. Not sure why this place wasn't bustling on Thursday evening before Christmas so something seems a bit off. Nevertheless I would recommend giving it a try. Next time I want to sit upstairs, didn't get to see it, but always love open air dining. Pet peeve, hang a sign for restroom directions.

Absolutely delicious and beautiful atmosphere. Took my husband and our entire family here for dinner and we were blown away with the food and service. We all got appetizers and a different dish and we were all surprised with the presentation and how well everything tasted. Will be back again.

We went for dinner on a Monday evening, we were so impressed with our service and our dinners! Best salmon I’ve had in sometime while my husband raved about his steak! Very friendly staff and a relaxing atmosphere, decorated nice for Christmas.

Enjoyed dinner last night at a relatively new restaurant in Palm Harbor named Dtiftwood. I had the grilled salmon, jasmine rice and asparagus, all of which was delicious! My friends loved the duck confit and the steak. Service was excellent. It's right around the corner from Molly Goodheads. The ambiance is perfect.

Our recent family holiday dinner for 12 was a wonderful dining experience for each person. We were seated in an alcove which allowed us to visit and catch up without a lot of noise and interference. We ordered several appetizers (oysters, calamari, shrimp rolls, and mussels) and they were fresh and delicious. The entrees were beautifully presented, very tasty, and everyone enjoyed their choices. Drinks and wine were enjoyed by all. What made this dinner even more enjoyable was the excellent service provided by our server, Tony. He was attentive, friendly, professional and handled any request with efficiency. We truly had a great family dinner at Driftwood, and we intend to make this our traditional kick-off to the holiday season!

Some of the food we've tried there has been superb! The rest has been subpar, though. In all cases, we've had a great time there. It's super clean and very comfortable.

Weird hours, the delicious menu online doesn't match the menu they give you on Saturday. The items are different, double the price, and not as big of a selection because you have to order from the dinner menu. The food was good but definitely very overpriced, especially for a Saturday afternoon. Would love to try the lunch menu. However, it's only available Mon - Fri until 4p. I guess that's great if you're retired.
