Ok so the reviews sound like this place is legit, been around for 30 years serving the community. I'm from NY, so I drive 40 minutes to try this place ...walk in on a Friday with a party of 6 requesting a table.. I'm told it would be 45 min to an hour, fine I get it, it's a Friday night, so since there were 2 booths available in the back of dinning area, suggested can we use 2 different booths, than the waitress behind the counter with an attitude says no it's going to be an hour and literally walks away. Walked out will NEVER be going back.. Big mistake!! Wow 30 years maybe it's time to re-evaluate their customer service.. 0 stars for this one.

This is my favorite NY style pizzeria in the Tampa Bay area. From the exceptional service, to the cozy atmosphere, to the delicious flavors starting with the NY Cheese, the San Marzano & all of the varieties of pie to choose from, as well as, the traditional Italian pasta & seafood dishes. I won’t leave out the beer & soda pop varieties. The staff will treat you like family. If you’re in the Tampa Bay area, call Gino’s & make your reservation & visit this hidden gem. Your tastebuds will thank you. 😋😋😋

Hello my pizza loving friends. I am a pizza specialist and have been in the pizza biz since I was about 14 and I am 40 now. I have had pizza from Vermont all the way down the coast here to FL. I have taste tested this menu and I am ready to give a review. I never leave a review especially for restaurants until I have tried multiple items, at different times. I know I know why different times. Well when the cook changes so does the food even if following a recipe! Gino, Gino, Gino, you guys did not disappoint.... EVER! I'd personally like to highlight the Pizza Blanca. If nobody has given praise to this pizza I will now. WOW! This is the first time ever I have gotten a pizza Blanca and loved it! I mean I wanted to come back and let you guys know in person how good it was but I know if I had done that I'd have walked out with 2 more slices lol and I really don't need it lol. I have tried many different kinds of pizza from here all have been fantastic. I have had the calzones, the Greek salad is a big time go to for me. I love this place and you will as well! Don't be shy stop by ! This is a big yes!

We have been going to Gino's on US 19 for several years every week until they recently closed. We have now tried the Tampa Rd location, different owners, twice now and we probably will never go back after our last visit! We came in and stood there waiting again with not one person of the six right there even acknowledging we were even there. Finally, I asked should we just seat ourselves and guy making pizzas says hold on second and someone will seat you. Finally the gal, daughter of, grabs menus and heads to a table without ever saying anything. Then gives us a look like DUH! In short, the service and the food were horrible! Pizza was burnt black on crust and bottom. You could see it as being carried to our table. Was hoping it was not ours but it was. First, cant believe they would bring it like that but we should have refused it. We hardly ate any of it and dropped the left over in the trash can out front when we got home.

In the 20+ years we have lived here, we have tried too many disappointing Pizzerias in the Tampa Bay Area. My New York relatives often say, ‘ you miss the pizza right?’ I do not. Gino’s New York style beats many of the Pizzerias I’ve been to in New York ( with the exception of Ciros’s pizza back in 1986…and Umbertos on Jericho Turnpike. I’ll never forget that pizza!). This pizza The tomato sauce is authentic, fresh., not too sweet or acidic. Perfect! . The cheese is high quality cheese…possibly grande. The crust is balanced, crispy without being dry, flavorful not flavorless. The only thing is this: please make sure your staff wears appropriate clothing. Please tell the staff not to eat up front at the register. Other than this, the food is amazing. This is NOT Olive Garden folks. This is the real deal!

This has to be one of the best pizzas I have had in a long time, been a pizza lover and trying so may pizzas around the world, this has to be something to try out, I highly recommend Gino’s New York Style Pizzeria, the flavor, the aroma, the taste and the service are incredibly incomparable, “mama mia”

I researched this small family owned business and decided to go with them based on the fact that they are an authentic Italian family who started this business and the same family cont to run this place. Since it was just myself, I decided to do takeout, which I’m not fond of to accurately evaluate pizza as I like to eat it fresh out of the oven but since my drive was short, I decided to take out a medium cheese pizza to try it out. The pizza had good flavor with the undercarriage that wasn’t too raw/floppy as well as overcooked with char creating a crispy undercarriage. I love the fact that there was plenty of cheese. The Pizza had great flavor and I would return again to try other varieties and some of their other dishes as well.

I have tried many pizza places in Palm Harbor… but this was by far the best. Gino’s is awesome and authentic. Great slice nice crisp. Everyone is super friendly 10/10
