Menchie's Frozen Yogurt

We used to stop by a few times a month, almost weekly, but the past year or so the quality has really declined. The frozen yogurt has tasted off and is almost soupy before you even check out, the toppings are low/empty and messy and what's there, it seems like it's been sitting out for awhile. In the last handful of times we've stopped, the only time the staff has spoken is when the screen comes up for a tip and they tell me I can tip them. Unfortunate because we like that it's closeby and it used to be a yummy treat.

Like the variety flavors, But today I wanted to purchase a yogurt cake for my girlfriend’s birthday, not happening because they’re closed. I won’t be back.

VERY pissed off! I drove all the way from South Clearwater, at the end of a LONG day, because the website said OPEN-- only to get here and see a sign on the door, "closed for renovations"! 🤬 Wasted TIME, GAS and ENERGY! Since they knew they'd be closed for a big chunk of time, they COULD have adjusted their online info to reflect this, if they cared about their customers! But, apparently NOT. I had SO MANY OTHER THINGS TO DO AND WAS ALREADY EXHAUSTED. NOPE! NOT AGAIN.

Overall the frozen yogurt is delicious. The staff working there was very pleasant. I will say outside they should take out the trash especially on a hot day. It smelled like hot trash right before you walk in which almost made us walk away. When we got inside everything was good but sitting inside today was not an option because the hot trash smell was coming in every time someone opened the door. Also the tables could have used a little TLC.

Very easy to order - just grab a cup, pick however many flavors of frozen yogurt you want and as much of each as you want, and self-serve as many toppings as you want. Pop on the scale, pay, and go.

Restroom on site, as well as indoor and outdoor seating. Tasting cups available by request if you want to sample a flavor before ordering.

Nice spot in East lake for a little treat with your family and friends. Prices are reasonable. Staff is very kind and plenty of areas to sit down. A ton of toppings and about 10 types of flavors that rotate

Tasty fro yo, but on the pricey side. Also, they have the nerve to ask for tips on full self service. How about you pay your workers better so they dont need to be supplemented with tip?

I’ve never had frozen yogurt before, so I figured I’d give this place a try while I was in the area. The man with the beard working at the front counter provided a great atmosphere and was very helpful providing sample cups and answering questions. Also I left my water bottle there and the young man cleaning the area during closing was very kind in letting me retrieve it. The frozen yogurt tasted wonderful and the price was worth it. Definitely coming back here next time I’m in the area :)
