Food was sub par. Service was awful. Took 45 minutes for food. Almost 15 minutes before even being acknowledged.

Walking in we were immediately greeted by the host. He was in a great mood immediately making us feel welcomed. We are quickly seated and our server got to us in good time. I got cheese curds for the starter and they were good. The main course ordered was the chicken tenders plate and she got waffles. Food came out missing sauces. I waited till my main plate got cold before the dipping sauce was brought out.. When the waitress finally brought out the sauce she complained that someone else could have brought it out. Finally ate and the food and it was bland. Fries were way over-seasoned and chicken was tasteless.

A friend and I were looking for someplace new for breakfast at 10 a.m. on a Sunday and remembering that Metro Diner opened in Palm Harbor at the end of October 2025 we decided to give it a try. We had a short 5-minute wait to be seated at a booth; the restaurant was crowded. My choice was Avocado Toast with a side of 2 scrambled eggs with cheddar cheese, and an unsweetened iced tea ($17.48 + tax/tip). My friend chose the Bacon, Egg and Cheese Croissant with hashbrown potatoes and a cup of coffee ($13.68 + tax/tip). I enjoyed the Avocado Toast but thought it a bit salty. The eggs were a softer than I prefer. My friend enjoyed his Bacon, Egg and Cheese Croissant. Sierra W. served us and was excellent. The young man host who seated us was helpful explaining the restaurant since opening and describing the Menu choices. Parking is plentiful, mobility impaired are accommodated without a problem and children are welcome.

I have been to Metro for breakfast, lunch and dinner several times since they opened. The servers are very friendly and seem to really enjoy their jobs, I love this very much and not often the case. The food is consistently delicious and I've never had anything I didn't like. The breakfast potatoes could use some spice and onions but I loved the teriyaki chicken boneless wings. They were tender and juicy just perfect both times I had them. The atmosphere is nice with counter seating, booths and smaller tables in the center of the room. They have daily specials which you don't want to miss and they offer delivery or pick up. I am a big fan and will eventually try everything.

This is my second visit, and I'm just as impressed as I was last time. While it was quiet today since it's only just after 3 PM it was very busy last time (around 1pm on a Saturday), and the wait time was shorter than the estimated time. Today, we were seated immediately and greeted by our friendly and personable server, Courtney, who cheerfully accommodated my dietary restrictions. I had the avocado breakfast sandwich, my sister had the fried cheese curds with ranch dressing. Both were delicious and the portions were generous The seating area has an open floor plan with tables, booths, and classic barstools at the counter area by the open kitchen. Note: This place used to be called Tiffany's and was reopened as the Metro Diner, and I'm happy to say that I'm impressed for the second time!

First time at this Metro had to wait a short time but waiting for the food was long 45 mins. Most of the food was fine except for the side of Mac & Cheese was dry and some pieces were hard. The waitress was hard to get to for anything. This location seems small compared to the South Tampa location. Maybe next time it won’t be as hectic where would have a better experience another time if decide to come back to this location.
